....What the sugar-frosted fuck is an Mx?

Also note that she's the one who throws the first punch by pitching a fire hydrant.
I'm guessing it has to do with being non-binary since it's not Mr. or Ms.

To them, political correctness isn't ruining comedy, it's making it better. While I agree being offensive doesn't automatically make you funny, but I wouldn't want to live in a world where I constantly had to worry if any one was offended. (Though I bet slamming CIShet white people is ok.) And given how people like the ones that follow EF get offended if you use the word, stupid, it would be harder. Hell, if the show, Home Improvement, was made today, it would be torn to shreds by these people.

What the hell do these humorless fucks know about comedy?

Literally anything will offend: my writing these words offends and marginalizes the illiterate, the Pee O'Sea who doesn't know English, and the blind

But PC Principal's in decent shape and has an actual paying job
And he's a white-cis-hetero male

But in all seriousness, I'm not buying the "Politcal correctness expands free speech" talk; it's just another platitude like "political correctness helps to start a dialogue."

Isn't saying that "you can't make jokes about this" inherently limiting free speech?

Political correctness is fine... to make fun of.

Unfortunately this line of thinking seems to permeate academia. Recently tried to read this book The Offensive Internet by various authors. I gave up near the one-third mark because the book is filled with legalese, but most of the authors condone some form of censorship in the name of "free speech". The phrase "chilling effect" got thrown around a lot.

Permeates media too, like when you can tell some sports talk radio host is all primed to talk about how the fact some people don't like Cam Newton is because of race, nobody calls in, and he chastises the audience with , essentially, "C'mon! this is a discussion that NEEDS TO BE HAD!"

I know there are good arguments against going to college, but this also captures the entitled attitude I see in modern, college-aged POC activists. Here's a few of my feelings...

-Colleges are a place of learning, study and independence. It does not have to flex to fit your schedule, not offend or be easy on you.
-With silly themes like those essays,it's for the better those get locked away.
-Just because medical textbooks don't care about SJW ideology, use cold, logical science and have white guys writing articles in them doesn't make them useless.

It's ok not to be college material, but things aren't going to be easy for you.

If you're not at college to learn or study, why are you at college?
