I eat that even without being broke simply because it is so cost efficient and a good meal base to add stuff to. Diced tomatoes, cumin, and peppers are pretty good to add for a little extra flavour. Toss in some meat, or even just use it as a side to some other main thing. I make two pots of it a month and it works as a meal or a component the whole month. You can eat cheap even if you're not broke, though this is a level of necessity you can only really learn when you have no option but to live on $50 a month.
This is why I never take the Karen Fat stage pictures at face value. She's probably not as thin as those older pictures of her show and her own hangs ups and clothing tastes certainly don't help, but I don't think she's quite as much a lard-ass she looks like in 90% of her performance pictures.
I'm not familiar with Canada, do people actually go camping in the winter in Canda? I thought Canadian winters were supposed to be pretty brutal, not something people would camp in.
Can depend on the area and how much snow they're getting, but there's also a lot more readiness to deal with that kind of environment because it's expected. I might not be the best 'average joe' to comment on it's viability though since I'm mildly familiar with bushcraft so I could scrape by better than most folks in winter, but I certainly wouldn't want to if given a choice. This is also coming from the position of actual survivalist-adjacent camping, if you're going full off-season camping tourist, there's likely camp grounds pre-stocked with all the conveniences you could want and 'camping' is accomplished with two battery-powered space heaters, store-bought firestarter logs and some camp wood stored by the grounds office prior to the freeze to keep them dry for the authentic feel.

Admittedly I prefer the overall top 100 setup, since then you wind up catching a few groups and indies you don't see people talk about in the West, like DWU's Shinsogumi group, Masquerade, or that one guy who does nothing but play a fuckton of pachislot. I could still fill that out, but I don't know whether that'd be a bit of a faux pas.

Anyway, here's the story. Late last year I was randomly recommended a Hololive fan animation from a tiny channel with only a couple of videos. I liked it so I subscribed. The channel was called Gray Scaling.
The guy didn't keep doing vtuber animations, however. Instead he focused on making short (~30 sec) animations of his own original characters. These were mostly funny/sexy shorts though there would occasionally be one with a darker tone. Kind of like Telepurte.
Not content making Hololive fan content, this guy Gray Scaling is basically building a virtual harem out of his own OC's. (If you're wondering about the guy himself, he has a stream with full face cam up on his second channel.)
Are Aka and Lani any good? I don't know, I haven't watched any of their streams. I'm just impressed with what the guy has done in just a few months, and I thought you guys would be interested.

Been watching a bit of Pippa's jewish sister. It seems its the 3rd time she attempts Jump King and cant seem to get too far. She rages quite often too. I really like her voice but i still think it doesnt really match her model.

Iirc the age 35-36 estimate for Vesper was made because someone dug through his time as an indie and he said he was 35 back then. I think he might be just lying about is his age to avoid that connection or because his character is 28 so he just says 28 like how Axel say he is from "Northern Elysium" even though it is obvious where his accent is from.
