Doesn't mean anything this early. It could just be waiting for a lazy supervisor to sign off on the report so it can be marked cleared in the system.
More likely, they are doing additional investigation to try and find the person that called in the hoax because there's no reason to believe it was shotspotter, as pointed out earlier.
