That line of thinking only works if you think the Democrats will only wipe out the filibuster for a single bill, for "insert X here". Especially in their current state, with the House and it's anti-life horde pissy as fuck that the Senate is the place where their anti-life legislation goes to die and the Senate, which has to deal with the filibuster making it so that you have to have 60 votes for even a basic bitch bill to pass. And the Democrats in general being on the brink of a one party Thousand Year SJW Reich with an impending reckoning that will keep them out of power for at least a generation.
In for a penny, in for a pound. If the Democrats decide to pull the trigger on abolishing the filibuster next term if they get enough people to do it, then expect them to pass some of the most beyond the pale left wing anti-life legislation known to man, the bulk of which will be written EXPLICITLY to ensure Biden or whoever they have to run in 2024 if Biden becomes unusable as a candidate, wins and that Democrats from local levels to state and federal levels, NEVER get voted out of power again and we go full fascist dystopia under the DNC Reich.
Eliminating the filibuster is a crossing of the rubicon moment. You can't go back after that nor can you say "we'll make an exception just for this piece of legislation". You have to go all in if you do it, because of the ramifications of such a game changing move that opens the mother of all can of worms.
As someone else said, sometimes normies on Twitter can zerg rush the bullshit that the tranny SJW anti-life brigade at Twitter have set up to keep right wing hashtags/hashtags that expose left wing evil from trending and get said hashtag trending.
Of course, when that happens, then Twitter either manually nukes the hashtag after a couple of hours of it trending or calls in favors within the anti-life culture to run a bot army or two to hijack the hashtage to destroy it and mock the right/normies and what they were trying to expose.
I think theres probably a lot of MS-13 activity going on in the southern states thats isn't being talked about.

A bit of inside baseball, but she isn't going to get very many big kickbacks from K-Street Defense Firms. She was never able to deliver the bacon for the Lobby. There's a reason why her attempts of fundraising off of them the last couple of years has been so anemic. She honestly thought she could advance her career solely by waving around the Family name and being Anti-Trump.
So Big Daddy Warbucks isn't all that interesting in giving money to a damaged asset, that never really delivered. Her connections also aren't reaching anybody who isn't already plugged into the system.
So she will probably be hired on by some Democrat propaganda group, and waste away in de facto political exile. Don't get me wrong, she isn't going to starve, and the Cheney Dynasty isn't dead yet, but they are certainly falling into 3rd string politics and far away from the real levers of power.
To be honest, if @Gehenna get/stays successful in political consulting, he and his family will probably be at the same power level, just away from D.C.

To add to this, she is going to fall exactly as far as she -can-. You give a pretty good rundown but don't quite hit the sheer depth of it. Her name will become poison in short order. She failed to deliver, comes from a damaged legacy, but worst of all she brings nothing to the table. She's too well known for lobbying, too unlikeable to be a surrogate, to wealthy to make a good ground pawn, too poor to be part of the donor class, and too stupid to realize her limits.
She is floating the idea of running for President, let that sink in.
She has no purpose beyond being a link to other, more useful people. And any position of actual power, influence, or worth already has that covered.
In the end, I don't think it was a case of her thinking all she needed was her name and a stance as anti-Trump though. That's honestly giving her too much credit. Cheney is, without exaggeration and keep in mind the sheer competition for this title, the most stupid person in politics.
Now, I feel that kind of claim requires some backing up because as I said, there is a lot of competition for that title. So let me give some inside scoop here because like any good political analyst with a decent reputation at the federal level, I chat with other analysts at that level. So I know quite a few people who have worked for, with, or against her. Now, do keep in mind this is second hand accounting, not first.
First: The woman ignores her analysts. More than any Democrat I have ever known. And do keep in mind I just a little while ago mentioned them ignoring the fact we are in a recession. Why Cheney even wastes the money hiring them, I could not say for certain. I think its because she knows other people hire them so she does herself.
Second: She truly believes her shit doesn't sink. The common through-line of every single person I know who has worked for her is that the woman is a -true- narcissist. "Not much different from a usual politician" I hear the rejoinder but -no-, politicians do tend to have a high opinion of themselves but they acknowledge they are in a cutthroat game and they need to cajole, intimidate, and appease their voters. They'll bitch about how the plebs don't understand their glorious vision, but understand that in the end they still need to at least make the appearance of caring and doing what they say. Cheney does not, in fact Cheney -sincerely believes- that just because she personally came out against Trump that all of Wyoming and the nation at large should obviously see they should be against him too. The woman -sincerely believes- not only is her influence so great that everyone will do as she says they should, but that they will be happy for her divine guidance.
Third: Because that wasn't enough, the woman is an -idiot-. I have done freelance work for a lot of people, including some infamous Democrats you all hate and -think- are stupid. I have happily worked alongside top staff to people like Pelosi, Maxine Waters, AOC, and a variety of other people you probably think are the most stupid person in congress.

That title goes to Cheney. The above goes to her general stupidity but let me give some specific examples cited to me by surprised and exasperated former staffers of hers:
1: She once lit her car on fire because she pumped gasoline in while the engine was running.
2: She has to have other people feed her pets because she believes they will find food themselves.
3: She has, repeatedly, referred to her father as former-president (I had it stressed to me, this was -not- tongue in cheek)
4: She believes that the UK is run by the monarchy
5: She believes that Iraq is in central Africa, and Iran is somewhere near India.
6: Multiple accounts, from separate people, of being confused how to do everyday things like opening chips, opening boxes, shaking hands, cooking, and my favourite "Remembering people she met yesterday".

I had heard stories like these about her from some of the NOVA Lizardmen I happen to be business associates with. I had honestly thought they were exaggerations, given that the people I was getting these stories from were bitching hard about how she had snubbed/gypped them in a House Armed Services Committee session or another.
One of these fine people I speak with had the displeasure of working with Liz Cheney and her staffers, to help bring her up to speed for her position on the HASC Subcommittee for Strategic Forces... again. Apparently she had gone through the initial set of briefings for the position, and learned absolutely nothing. It wasn't because she was some sort of strategery enthusiast either, she was to the point where you could take a random user from this site, and have a damn near guaranteed chance of not finding anyone more ignorant.
Here's a few highlights of what she learned.
- She was mystified that Submarines could submerge beyond the top of their Periscopes.
- That nuclear weapons are different from conventional weapons.
- That things don't "fix themselves if you just leave them alone for a bit"
- Nuclear Command and Control centers need to have communication equipment.
- That we have nuclear weapons in different sizes.
- That we have ballistic missiles that don't have a global/unlimited range.
- That ballistic missiles are not re-usable. She literally thought that the missiles would reach the target, drop off the payload, and then return back to the launcher/launchpad to be re-armed.
- and so, so much more.
This guy said he had the misfortune of doing something similar for Sheila Jackson Lee (another competitor for World's Stupidest Politico), and he said that Liz Cheney was worse.

Yah that all sounds about right. While I have not worked for her personally, I have had enough entirely separate people give me tales like this I can only give them credence. Considering I introduced several of them to each other for the first time, and yet they have near identical types of stories, I... well, Cheney is uniquely stupid.
