To all my Niggasanjis in the thread, would you kindly post some clips of your favorite Anycolors steamers? While I am a firm believer in Fishman supremacy I still wanna know more about all the little bits and bolts that make up this hobby. I have a general understanding of Hololive but know basically know nothing of Niji. The few things I know about it is clips of Finana talking at length about tenga, giggle dragon giggling, the devil loli saying "Goodbye monkey", and Pomu's egg. There's just so much out there and I don't even know where to start.

With that attitude it's not hard to see why they were picked and you weren't. Ignoring how good of a streamer they are or aren't or how much they do or don't fit their character, to a fault they seem like good dudes.
Even if someone is a can't miss talent, I guarantee one of if not the most important factor in hiring someone is determining how well they'll fit in with the rest of the talents. This is the absolute minimum requirement. And with your attitude there's zero chance you'd ever get selected.
Cover and Nijisanji manage dozens of talents, several of whom bring in seven figures a year for them. Every time they select someone, they'll choose someone who they not only think will do well as an entertainer but also can fit in with everyone else.
If you're serious about trying to make it into one of these companies, you should consider improving yourself instead of shit talking talents that are already in. These are the people that would be your fellow coworkers. And no, I don't care that this is an "anonymous" message board. Anyone serious about applying to one of these companies shouldn't be engaging in this type of stupid rhetoric.
Now us plebs who aren't ever going to apply? Well, that's what we're here for.

I honestly do not know which one of them to trust. But I think I would be more willing to lean on Helsang's side than on Gilk's side. Gilk uses a lot of buzzwords on his Google Doc without much meaning or conviction behind it. The way Gilk wrote the whole thing should ring some bells. It reeks of your typical ENVtuber posting Twitlongers to call out and condemn people they deem "problematic" to the community. On the other hand, Helsang's writing is much more professional and mature in tone. Helsang rationally (or at least tried to) addressed the claims on Gilk's doc.
One of the glaring reasons why I wouldn't just believe someone to be a true pedophile is that the word itself has already lost a lot of meaning in this day and age. It used to be something serious. Something very grave. These days it's just thrown around like playground insults in petty slapfights. And if you would attach artwork depicting shotacon/lolicon and deem it as "evidence" of pedophilia, I wouldn't believe you. Those are just pretty pixels on a screen. In other words, fiction. As long as it doesn't depict real children (like what Shadman did) then I do not see that as incriminating evidence. If you want to accuse someone of being an actual pedophile, gather real, hard evidence of CP and not those kinds of artwork. I would understand anyone's disgust and disappointment in people who like shotacon/lolicon. But when there is malice involved I'd be skeptical. Especially if you spam the word pedophile and all its related buzzwords like an unsolicited email.
I'm not American so what do I know about racism. Yeah people say le fordibben N-word in jest or in emotional outbursts. It happens a lot in the internet yknow. If I were to call some guy a nigger because I lost a game of League or Apex Legends would that be enough to call me a racist? If I were to call some guy a nigger because I hold prejudices and genuine malice towards people of color would that be enough to call me a racist? Context matters. Context matters a lot these days.
And finally, Rainbow-Phobia. If "misgendering" is offensive enough to deemed disrespectful and damaging to one's identity then I think something has gone terribly wrong. Yknow I've had my share of being "misgendered". Sometimes I'd be mistaken as a girl. But do I throw bitchfits about it on the internet? Do I dislike people when they do not call me by my preferred pronouns? Nein. Because I'm actually secure about my identity and in essence who I am. If your gender is the only central point of your identity then I doubt that it is strong and secure. Granted I do not suffer from gender or body dysmorphia. But getting "misgendered" is not a good reason to throw a tantrum over.
Helsang does admit that Taiga has a history of faggotry. And I suppose those qualities makes the furfag an easy target for smear campaigns. As such, it becomes easier to summarily assess an individual with the aforementioned knowledge of the individual's aired out dirty laundry. I'm not sure of what to think about Taiga, but I do hope that whatever he has said or done, as claimed by Helsang, is genuine and true.

On one hand, it is arguable that Gilk is genuinely malicious and has cherry-picked and/or doctored images to condemn and damage Taiga's reputation because he wasn't Taiga's Discord Kitten. On the other hand, it is also arguable that Helsang may be trying to cover Taiga's ass in an effort to do some legitimate damage control. However I'd be more inclined to side with someone who is clearly mature and articulate rather than someone who's just throwing whatever buzzwords they can at the wall to see what sticks.

This is the first time I heard about the grooming stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if its true.
