Brings to mind an honest question for our black kiwi population.

I keep seeing Dems hem and haw about how America is a racist country etc. Then I see guys like Herschel who will remind them no, we've actually made a lot of progress.

Which to my mind is true. Coming of age when I did, from what I saw, the 90s and early 00s were actually very good in terms of race relations, at least following the LA riots. There were some notable cases like that but for the most part I remember black and white people getting along.

Am I wrong and you guys just had a totally different perspective or are the Dems actively deteriorating what could have been considered a milestone of improved relations?
Standard line from anti-white black bigots and their white dick suckers is that that the 90s as we know it was a huge fucking lie ala the 1950s. The "utopianism" of that decade is a lie, the same way that they like to claim the 1950s were racist as fuck and was whitewashed by the media and conservatives at the time and in later decades who painted a false picture of suburban perfection where everything was great and there was no problems period.

These fuckers argue that blacks were largely cowed silent in the 90s and that Rodney King/LA Riots were the only time that "the truth came out" and was quickly buried to "avoid offending white people". And that OJ getting acquitted was full-on revenge against whitey, which in that case, was buried by uncle tom types.

Even black dominance in sitcoms in the 90s has been retrofitted into the racist POV; that upstart networks like Fox, WB, and UPN pandered to blacks to build an audience only to backstab them once they got big enough that they could shun them for white viewers. Not to mention the Living Single/Friends rivalry that has erupted in recent years that didn't exist at the time both shows were on the air. IE the decision to rewrite history and state that Living Single was ripped off by NBC to create Friends even though both shows were radically different in tone, scope, casting, and cast. Because black supremacists are STILL butt-hurt Friends was an all white show and remains an huge hit in reruns and streaming.

As for the 00s, everyone got together to hate on Muslims due to 9/11, so that doesn't count because some Muslims are black.

I had heard stories like these about her from some of the NOVA Lizardmen I happen to be business associates with.

Here's a few highlights of what she learned.
  • She was mystified that Submarines could submerge beyond the top of their Periscopes.
  • That nuclear weapons are different from conventional weapons.
  • That things don't "fix themselves if you just leave them alone for a bit"
  • Nuclear Command and Control centers need to have communication equipment.
  • That we have nuclear weapons in different sizes.
  • That we have ballistic missiles that don't have a global/unlimited range.
  • That ballistic missiles are not re-usable. She literally thought that the missiles would reach the target, drop off the payload, and then return back to the launcher/launchpad to be re-armed.
  • and so, so much more.
Apparently, that round of training didn't stick either.

This guy said he had the misfortune of doing something similar for Sheila Jackson Lee (another competitor for World's Stupidest Politico), and he said that Liz Cheney was worse.
I had a professor who was present at a meeting where Reagan revealed that he thought we could recall nuclear weapons up until the moment they deployed their payload.
Also, I'm adding NOVA Lizardmen to my vocabulary because it's perfect and reminds me of the episode of Inside Job that shows the DC elite as lizard people.
If he wasn't probably autistic, he'd be unstoppable.

It's so fucking over once he gets addicted to working out.
As if autism isn't the source of his power.

You guys were discussing how OWS scared the bankers into fostering race resentment unto the public to distract from class issues earlier.
And that's partially correct, but misses a huge part of the picture: the Tea Party.

College-educated Lefties throwing impotent protests about class issues is an American fixture at least as far back as the 1960's. If anything, they've neutered the appeal of the message by being so goddamn obsessed with that era's protest culture, even 60 years later. But a bunch of suburban-to-rural white Boomers articulating what was basically a template for MAGA at roughly the same time? That'll put visions of guillotines and purges in the nightmares of the elites. Because now it's apparent the class consciousness is spreading throughout the population.

There's a reason right after the protest movement started the New York Times began circulating a (now-debunked) bit of agitprop that the single biggest indicator someone would join the Tea Party was thinking that religion should have more influence in the government ca. 2004. Got to get the OWS types to hate their potential allies for being ebul fundies.

Going to clarify some of your shit there.

The Tea Party started out as a libertarian driven populist movement relating to the government moving to bail out wall street but telling main street to fuck off and die. BUT with the election of Obama, the movement got hijacked by the right and their corporate allies pretty much within weeks of it being formed and it went from libertarian populism to full-on vessel for racial hatred against Obama and to a lesser extent, Obamacare, being harnessed by the right and their corporate masters to retake Congress and state level offices and the end goal, making Obama a one term President.

Now the left was pissed the fuck off, ESPECIALLY with the way that the Tea Party and it's corporate masters masterfully exploited the media to present themselves as a grassroots populist uprising against the corrupt financial elites.... something that was always the left's cause celeb.

Occupy Wall Street EXPLICITLY started up, IIRC the timeline, after the Tea Party managed to decimate the Democrats in the 2010 mid-term as a means to "reclaim control over the issue of who the real "populists" were" and "who really spoke for the working class".

Unfortunately, Occupy Wall Street quickly spiraled out of control of the left wing elites and unlike the Tea Party (who did rallies but then went back to their day to day lives when they were not protesting), OWS engaged in full-on left wing tactics of explicit occupation of public parks and locations in big cities that made them an eyesore to the left and their corporate masters (many of whom were defectors from the right once corporate America started hedging their bets on Obama actually being a big deal and not a fluke). And a LOT of these people were homeless punks, professional protesters, young people who couldn't get jobs or were unable to get the white collar jobs they felt their college degrees entitled them to have, woke trust fund brats who had the money and free time to slum in a tent city, and other working/middle class poor types who wanted to join in on the fun. People who were already going to vote Democrat and not the all important soccer moms or yuppie dads who were pissed off that Obama told them to fuck off and die while they struggled as he gave lavishly millions to the elite banking class.

Adding to this, the Tea Party even at their most racist, had a razor focused view on what they wanted. Occupy had ZERO focus, in part because the left simply gave professional protest groups money to protest under the OWS banner and told them to say vagaries about how "we were the real populists!".

The decision to give the kill order via poison by way of identity politics came from several things happening:

1. The OWS encampments became embarrassments between the crime, the drug use, the rapes, and lack of hygiene and trashiness of the places making the city elites wanting them gone ASAP.

2. Organizers who had their shit together started naming Wall Street and Obama as the bad guy and calling out their shit and people were starting to pay attention and writing about it (see Matt Tiabbi).

3. The Tea Party itself had been neutralized by both pop culture and by the media, making them a threat only to establishment Republicans and their original message long since being neutered by casual racism that made it easy for Obama and his ilk to say "don't pay attention to those racists!".

From Project Veritas, the FBI's "Domestic Terrorism Symbols Guide":

FBI Whistleblower LEAKS Bureau’s ‘Domestic Terrorism Symbols Guide’ on ‘Militia Violent Extremists’ Citing Ashli Babbitt as MVE Martyr

  • Leaked document is labelled as “Unclassified/Law Enforcement Sensitive” that is for “FBI Internal Use Only.”
  • Under the “Symbols” category of the document, “2A” is listed with the following explanation: “MVEs justify their existence with the Second Amendment, due to the mention of a ‘well regulated Militia,’ as well as the right to bear arms.”
  • “Revolutionary War imagery” such as the “Gadsden Flag” and the “Betsy Ross Flag” are cited in the document under “Commonly Referenced Historical Imagery or Quotes.”
Project Veritas released a newly leaked document today provided by an FBI whistleblower, which shows how the Bureau classifies American citizens it deems to be potential “Militia Violent Extremists” [MVEs].

In the document, the FBI cites symbols, images, phrases, events, and individuals that agents should look out for when identifying alleged domestic terrorists.

Of note, under the “Symbols” section, is a prominent citation of the Second Amendment, where it explains that “MVEs justify their existence with the Second Amendment, due to the mention of a ‘well regulated Militia,’ as well as the right to bear arms.”

Right below that, under the “Commonly Referenced Historical Imagery and Quotes” section, Revolutionary War images such as the Gadsden Flag and the Betsy Ross Flag are listed. Each flag displayed in the document comes with a brief description of what it means.

Under the “Common Phrases and References” section of the leaked document, Ashli Babbitt is cited as a person that MVEs consider to be a Martyr.

The same document also refers to Ruby Ridge, Waco, and even Timothy McVeigh, tying in traditional American ideas and symbols with radical and/or violent events in the past.

Nothing we didn't already know. They fucking hate you for merely defying them.

And of course, they show no remorse for murdering Vicki Weaver, Duncan Lemp, and Ashli Babbitt.

FBI, if you're reading this: Eat a bag of dicks, you glowing faggot Nazis.

From Project Veritas, the FBI's "Domestic Terrorism Symbols Guide":

The top half is a collection of some of the most played out dead meme symbols that even /pol/ thinks are tired and cringe (AnCap flag, Warrior helm, Punisher skull) and the bottom half is a mix of rather generic Boomer conservative and Gen X lolbertarian imagery and the stuff you only see in historical reenactments and reruns of Liberty's Kids.

I'm just surprised that Pepe, Wojak, Ron Paul, and Astolfo didn't also make the cut in this collection of played out cringe memes.

Most of the actual far-right nowadays are big into trad LARP'ing and even the more played-out and basic bitch trad-right memes like Christ-chan, "DEUS VULT", Joshua Graham, the tradwife Wojak girl, or the Knights Templar aren't mentioned at all in that image.

For all the claims about "muh Christian nationalists", you'd think the glowies would at least mention Deus Vult or something.

It's shit like this is why I don't think that the "Christian Nationalist" media coverage is just astroturfed fearmongering.

That would imply that the glowies actually are competent at paying close attention to the wider cultural trends in the dissident right but they're just regurgitating tired /pol/ memes from 2015.
