I used to not really give a fuck about having an Oshi and while Pippa was entertaining she didnt really do much for me, her interviews and Lisa collabs are golden tho

Then i watched Fauna's Peglin strim and was so thoroughly entertained that i actually stopped being a clip fag just for her strims, unironically really nice to watch and she seems to not be retarded

Elira Pendora from Nijisanji EN.

I actually was a fan of Elira before she was NijiEN. Pomu as well, actually. As some people here know by now I am quite the NijiEN fan, and those two are a big reason why that is the case. Elira in specific is just the kind of streamer I can listen to for hours and hours. She arguably doesn't have a single flashy or standout talent or whatever, she just has a really nice voice, sense of humor, ability to keep a conversation with chat going, etc. There's no deep or special reason behind her being my oshi. It's not like she plays my favourite games or shares my taste and obscure interests or anything. Her personality just clicks for me in a way that no other vtuber does do quite the same extent.

In my case, I think it's pretty obvious the yabbit is my oshi, but to expand a bit on other chuubas I like, here it goes:

• Holo: Fauna, Ame (when she's not playing shit games), Gura (when she's actually streaming), Vesper.
• PC: Pippa (duh), Tenma, Shiina
• Tsunderia: Lisa, Amiya (just a tourist there tho)
• Niji: not even once

Gotta admit I'm slowly drifting away from holoEN, save for Fauna. I blame the past months where the girls were either streaming Elden Ring or not streaming at all. I moved to watching clips of them instead and migrated to PC almost full time.
Vesper's Zatsus are great tho.

She went from an Idol in Training to a Mega Idol slash Messiah, and that's what vtubing is all about to me, the possibility to turn a life that could have been stuck in the trap that is this 'Merican life into something cool and awesome. I am one of those people that love lots of Vtubers, but the yabbit is special to me as a gal who also lost their way.

Or rate me optimistic! It's all in the spirit of this thread, and this thread is pretty damn fun all things considered.

Hi, my name is You're an idiot, and my oshi is the famous announcer from Paladins, Amelia Watson. I like her because she has the drive to put her whole branch in her backpack and carry HoloEN forward by using her unlimited creativity and simp bucks to help realize the dreams of all her friends. Any time anything special needs to be done she will be there to assist. She often does loads of background work that she wouldn't ever brag about because she is a stand up girl that seems to have a never ending amount of effort to give when the other girls need her.

I also like that she is a little gremlin person who will play into her more chaotic nature whenever she gets the chance. She'll not hesitate to fully humiliate whatever opponent she is placed against when she feels like it, and I enjoy the times she when she turns it onto the chat when those fucks deserve it. However, beyond the troll-like personality, sits the heart of a caring individual. My eyes will always get watery when I listen to her share her honest feelings during Gura's 2021 birthday stream. I will never forget when she kept checking on Gura during the big Halloween VR collab to make sure she was going to be alright with her motion sickness. I love that she's able to sing even though she's not the best and it makes her nervous beforehand, but she enjoys it anyway.

Amazing comedic timing, fantastic emotion-filled singing voice, incredible entertainer that repeatedly hits you with whiplash from being one moment adorable and the next having you wondering just what the actual fuck is going on in her mathematically-challenged brain.

One aspect that I truly appreciate from her is that when she takes a break and unplugs, she does it properly. She goes out, touches some fucking grass. Shovels poop at those animal shelters and whatnot. Not being chronically online on Twitter and whatever social medias, which is simply great even if you don't get to hear a lot about what she's doing.

I do hope she'll overcome some of her anxiety about doing collabs with the girls outside of HoloEN, but yes, I'll always look forward to her streams(whenever those happen these days.), and as always, will be watching her career with great interest.

Honestly I can't really pinpoint who my favorite oshi is. There's been so many female and male vtubers I've enjoyed, especially this past year i've increased my viewing of them.

I love Pippa for being weird and blunt with what she says. She rarely holds back and says what's on her mind for better or worse but I like that quality in her.

I enjoy watching IRyS cause I find how to be a great singer and very funny. I also love how weird she says thing and yabby she is without trying to be. It's that certified trademark IRyS filter she has to make a complete normal sentence come out the most yabbest way possible.


I also enjoy the Misaki sisters from GGN. I really enjoy their family friendly entertainment. They don't try to be too wacky, perverted, or controversial. I kind of like that sometimes. I also love the community built around them and how interactive they are with it. I also enjoy how scared they get with horror games, especially Aki lol

My Niji oshi is Selen. I always like the memelords the most. She always makes me laugh so hard. She’s also very sweet and supportive. She’s got a lot of energy, and is so creative as is shown by the karaokes. She’s like the Ame of NijiEn, so many creative ideas and so much hardwork and care put into them. With the smol models, the Vr chat city, the train station, etc.

Plus she’s the Nijisanji member I’ve known the longest because I found her through Uto.

• Out of HoloID, she is the most your girl-next-door vibe, kinda more relatable than others, knowledgeable at meme, and as i said before out of HoloID only she and Kaela who are able to address a problem more maturely, have the perfect amount of chaotic energy for me.
