Is it me or is Phil's voice so much worse. I was watching some vids that were even a couple of years old and listening now he really has that scratchy alcoholic voice. If you listen to him laugh he can barely laugh.

His voice does sound like he's been smoking since he was 12. Could be just old age.

He makes it sound like streaming is a transaction. "I played this, you HAVE to pay me." He's actually offended that it didn't work like that. Unreal.

But remember, it only works like a transaction until Phil is required to deliver on his part, then all of a sudden, he's just a guy sharing his hobby and passion for video games guys!

I like many others Here probably wouldn't have a problem if dsp was playing WWEC and it was known from the get go and he made some microtranctions. But that's not the case, its crying broke 365 days of the year and spending huhdreds of thousands on said game and outright denying it and lying profusely is what got his ass in hot water.

My personal theory that is based on nothing except that I think it would be funny if it were true is that DSP, being as spineless as he is, can't address Kat's massive weight gain head on and so he uses troll comments to try and let her know she's fat and it's time to hit the gym. Kat is taking up 2/3 of their sectional couch watching a playthrough by [non-DSP YouTuber] and DSP, barely fitting on his piece of sectional next to Kat, is scrolling through Kiwi Farms going "duhuhu look the trolls are calling you 'Fat Kat' now duhuhu"

My Theo theory is that in the latest Multiversus stream a whale who was supposed to swing by & support got scorned by either Secret's video, or the whale saw the Daily Crap video where Phil had WWE Champions on the phone that day and connected the dots, therefore the whale would now be gone. I don't know what else would've happened when he just out of nowhere stopped playing the game and was looking at his phone for a few minutes. Mid-match no less. The only other thing I can think of is that he was losing a feud in WWE Champions and had to quickly intervene. I know that causality isn't a thing in pigroachland, but again it's just my crazy non-factual detractor conspiracy theory.

I think my favorite thing about Phil's unhinged rant today about mobile games is that IF, in whatever bizarro chaos universe he lives, if he really was finally telling the truth this time that he does infact play mobile games but just doesn't spend, it would mean that Phil values his privacy in a shitty WWE match 3 puzzler game over the reputation of his 13 year old youtube channel. There is a kind of acid reflux (LPR, LaryngoPharyngealReflux) that doesn't cause pain in the chest. Iirc it's theorized it's acid vapor that can damage the throat, sinuses, and even ear tubes. So yea, the hoarseness, snorting, throat clearing, ear infections, (self inflicted) stress, and poor diet/lifestyle choices (alcoholism) kind of all add up.

It's been quite a while, but the last time I bought a handle of middle shelf hard liquor it was like $30. A 1.75L handle is about 40 shots worth. I don't remember the exact total wines expenditures, but it was definitely enough to give an out-of-shape middle age man acid reflux. Even if Khet is drinking half it's still a lot. I mean, we know he's not throwing parties, giving it away, or pouring it down the sink. It's going down the pig gullet.

A slightly different interpretation of that sequence of events you're recalling; He was getting annoyed with chat being zerg rushed by the "mentally ill moron detractor memes for a name" chat user who has been vice grip crushing his nuts for a few months now, so he got on the phone to call in a mod between matches. One mod did arrive shortly thereafter. Now, there was a small tip around this juncture of the stream that while not robust support, got a very perky response outsized of its denomination (either the $2, or $1.49 just after 8 pm his time tip, fuck no, I'm not going back to check which one it is). That tip probably had a whale message saying, don't worry the slow stream will be whaled later if support stays dead for the rest of this stream, just relax and enjoy the game. Then said promised whale tip never landed on stream. Maybe it was behind da scenes after the stream ended, maybe it was sent with no popup and he never announced it, but that's the way I ascribe that sequence during his party fighter stream.

This is typical goal-post shifting. He denied up, down, left, and right that he played any mobile games and now that he got caught red-handed he has retreated to 'I play some mobile games casually but I didn't spend a lot of money on them' while pretending that this was his position all along.

Not only has he denied playing mobile games this entire time, any mention of wwe champions or mobile games in his chat has been almost ban on sight. If he was still "casually" playing mobile games, why would he care if his audience asked about them? He's been trying to hide anything even remotely related to mobile games from entering his streams for the past what, 2 years now? If he was just innocently playing mobile games this whole time, he would not have been so defensive about them. Will phil be apologizing to all the people he's banned and/or cussed out for mentioning mobile games on his streams, since he actually does still play them now?
