Ame has the most videos out of everyone on her channel, and does actually stream quite a bit even if it doesn't seem like it sometimes. She does a lot of guerrilla streams.

Myth was also busy at the start of this year with Holofes and then a lot of them got sick. Then Calli got her UMG deal and started touring as DDK. Ina had issues with her internet and then took a break. And they had their America get-together, during which basically every EN girl save IRyS, Sana, and Kronii caught the coof from.

I've seen the sentiment rise this year basically in lockstep with a growing number of /vt/ posters that seem outright anti-holoEN en general, probably some degree of overlap there though that's obviously not the entirety of it. there's kind of a rotation of bitching about various members not streaming enough that changes every few weeks. Outside of Sana's obvious schedule issues I've never personally seen what the big deal is but that also might be because I have a pretty wide net of chuubas I enjoy where a lot of people seem to have just a select few. so if an EN girl I watch slows down a bit I just have others to fill the time still.

Panko didn't run into the problems other talents did. I know Shiina didn't get approved because she got strikes the opening Karaoke she was doing which is why she quit doing them. Some of the others have issues due to issues with their content, etc..

The problem that occurred with Panko's membership tiers is that she did not change the default Youtube text for tiers, which has a base fee of $4.99 and two upper tiers that promise priority chat messaging and special access to members. Fits were pitched /there/ and in the discord, Management talked to her to find out what was going on, and she publicly apologized for her mistake and changed the two upper tiers to extra support (without benefits).

This also triggered them to check the rest of the memberships for existing talents on you tube and ended up realigning all talents to a $4.99 base, with extra support tiers if they wanted to have them. For example Tenma's was readjusted down from $6.99 to $4.99.

Edit: Tenma's issue was likely Youtube recommending a CAD equivalent to $4.99 USD when she opened membership (due to the accounts location being in Canada) and her using that number but setting the price at USD,

Has any of them mentioned the reason for delays? I presume Rie cause she's Aussie and probably says words like Cunt that are normal there but Silicone Valley SJWs will hate via their automated systems. Airi did Karaoke as well, so she cut that out too. But Shiina at least has superchats open.

a bit of it yeah and it's still a general minority of people that do it, some of it as well beyond just "hate popular thing" is just that once something is no longer "shiny and new" people are more prone to dunk on it as well.

Probably the only thing there I would disagree with is that I would say the "normalfag" go to would probably more likely be vshojo as they integrate more regularly with actual normie streamers giving normies a smooth onramp. whereas Hololive probably onboards more of the general weeb specific audience, which while weebdom has become more mainstream it's not quite gotten to full blown normie territory yet.

it's less of an "insight" than it is just one person's personal narrative, people in general tend to over romanticize being an oldfag in a hobby or entertainment field and try to explain how the "new kids just don't get it" but it's rarely anything more than sentiment without substance to support it.

I wouldn't say Finana is going the GFE route as much as "Vshojo lite" in that regard.

outside of Mel doing literal camwhore work I don't know that anyone in Vshojo has done anything quite to the level of "roleplay grinding on your viewers hard cock" so I don't even know that the Vshojo comparison is apt. But yeah I would also agree that GFE isn't it either.

idk, I'm not super fussed about it since I already didn't really pay attention to her because I was already filtered by the "lel NSFW feesh" stuff but just also don't think "Vshojo lite" hits on the extent to which she decided to dive into the coomer pandering.
