For anyone wondering why he was banned, VRChat started using Easy Anti Cheat, a very good, simple, and cheap anti-cheat, VRchat previously allowed modding the game for using custom launchers and such, similar to Minecraft, and you only get one warning to turn your custom software off, you have 59 minutes to restart the game without the client, and if you quit and launch the game with your loader or any modifications again you will be permanently and instantly banned. (The only people who got upset are griefers and pedophiles)
Also it only takes five minutes to create a new account, but they have a usage-based trust level system, so you can upload custom content to the game as your level gets higher, getting the 'Trusted' rating takes over 500 hours

Yeah I heard about all the Anti-cheat fuckery VRC was pulling, and the fact that it basically did more harm than good since a lot of the mods people used were accessibility or security enhancements that the VRC team had been too lazy to properly implement. There was a minor shit-storm, and quite a lot of people jumped ship to NeosVR and ChilloutVR. Like most of these sorts of situations where there is controversy in a big platform and people look for alternatives, this was still a small portion of the userbase in total, and though the player count of Neos has nearly doubled, it's nowhere near the spike that happened when VRC first announced this, and who knows if that population is sustainable. It might, it might not be, but Neos is niche compared to VRChat, but not without it's own historical drama. Anyways that's a little beside the point but I bet Sappho joined Neos recently because of this, he was basically jumping on a bandwaggon. "VRC ripoff" or not, if what you said is true that he still has his VRC account, this arguably reflects better on Neos in this particular situation, as they at least took the initiative to ban this degenerate groomer before he starts shit on their platform.
