It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

Caesar’s Palace during Las Vegas’ monsoon rainstorm that flooded streets and took out power all over the place.

Yes they know they aren’t made for rain. No they don’t care. Every time it does the streets become rivers and the parking garages hellholes. Never visit vegas if it is expected to rain though that’s rarer nowadays.

NYT keeps taking losses:
tl;dw: The NYT appeal was denied in NY Supreme Court.

Video is pretty fun. Apparently the NYT is torching themselves trying to avoid discovery.

O'Keefe is definitely lolcow material but PV has resulted in a lot of good work. The amount of people they have caught out is pretty impressive. My favorite is the teachers union guy laughing about moving junkie teachers around.

I say he is lolcow material because he loves attention in a way that could turn hilarious under the right circumstances.

The feds, in their ever-expanding mission to declare everything vaguely right-wing as a terrorist organization, reportedly classed this guy and his organization as "Militia Violent Extremism."

Not really an article, more of something worth noting - you know how the lgbt community is going squirrely alot recently over accusations and being groomers and such?

Whats that saying about getting them while they're young? Totally no grooming intent at all there i'm sure. Just what kid of lego age is watching queer eye for the straight guy unless their parents are exposing them to some questionable things?

Ehhh, that's no more for "kids" than the "Friends" apartment set was. It's for the obsessive Lego collectors. Like the Lego Titanic or the Colosseum.
