Obviously Phil's a fucking contrarian jealous ignorant sore loser retard.
But it is really cool that he's such a purist about fighting games While simultaneously being a gatcha addict. The irony obviously missed on dave. But it's crazy you can harp on all this shit that's "killing" competive fighting games. While being a guy whose responsible for the death of the mobile game industry and kinda tainted the gaymes industry in general.
How can you sit there and talk shit about this and that ruining fighting games. When your precious microtranscations shifted gaming significantly in a greedy shitty lazy way. It's not even just mobile games either. The entire industry was fucked over by microtranscations. Whatever future or gaming we good of had is gone and never happening.
I guess for me that's why it's so wild to see a man who romances an era of gaming that predates all this shit throw 100k at fucking gacha. Retro, his fgc days, microtranscations were in no one's mind, the least not the capacity it became. Be so fucking perturbed by dumb shit like the fucking netcode affecting the legitness or competive nature of a game. when people like him are responsible for ruining alot of balance and fairness in games. The least the satisfaction that game with them. Everything's dumb downed, ill inspired, grindy or fucking just flat-out a cash grab in someway. And Phil's the reason.

I actually found out about Phil through RTU. It was a stream he did probably over 10 years a ago maybe about 2012. The stream showed a lot of Phil's mistreatment of his fanbase and his ban from Blip TV. I remember thinking after seeing all of Phil's shit even back then that he was a piece of shit. But, one thing that always sat with me was how Rich would never truly commit to saying how terrible Phil's behavior was. I found it so weird back then when I was a fan but seeing the way he is now it makes sense. He was always a bitch for Phil for some reason I can't understand.
