Yep. It doesn't change too much, but it looks like the government is trying to squeeze people and the IRS is rightfully despised by the average person, so it's going to be unpopular regardless. Then there's the tax on natural gas during an energy crisis. That cost will be passed on to the customer, possibly even in an itemized manner. So when people get their bill and there's a 17% charge that says "Biden tax hike" they're not going to be like, "well it's a tax on them, not on me, so Biden's pledge to not increase taxes on anyone making less than $400,000 still holds." All in all, the bill is going to increase costs during a recession. It's going to hurt.
No taxation without adequate representation!
My prediction: Some sort of IRS backed Waco-style siege followed by a string of violence and more authoritarian government.

My prediction is that the IRS is going to be used for lawfare purposes. Target someone and then drain their resources in a lopsided court fight for years and years.
I'd say Biden learned it from Obama, but considering his brain is cottage cheese I'm guessing that the same staffer just brought it up again like they did in 2009.

Literally because Orange Man Bad. That is their sole rallying cry and the raison d'etre of the modern Democrat party.
I've had multiple people, intelligent people I trust, who that is literally their only comment on the 2020 election and the aftermath. The "I had to vote for LITERALLY ANYONE NOT TRUMP" mentality is flat out cultlike. I swear, someday after the crash we'll discover that MSNBC was running experimental subliminal messaging tech.

Some updates from Baris for today:
First some musings about the GOP not understating the base.

Next some info about Joe Kent and the voters left in WA-3. Image attached but not thumbnailed as archive didn't catch it fully.
Is there a winner yet? Is this still just the first count?

She'd have to step down from her second term as governor to run.

The Republicans just handed her an easy reelection by allowing a weak unknown candidate to win a predetermined primary victory with absolutely no pushback.
Didn’t they disqualify the top few candidates with signature shenanigans and then arrest the only one left standing for being in the same zipcode on jan 6th as the capital?

There's a new book coming out next month about Trump fighting all his generals and his former chief of staff, but it's so fake and unbelievable just with the excerpts coming out that the military is becoming just as apparent as corrupted as the FBI is, it goes beyond Milley being a likely closet BDSM gimp. They're woke and they're horrible at their jobs but they sure are capable of setting up twitter clapbacks in their minds.

There is also the fact that we know that the IRS Has targeted the enemies of the DNC in the past.

They need to build a wall and make Cali pay for it.

Because Plan A of turning red states into subservient slaves to the Californian Borg got kiboshed due to the Roe v. Wade repeal. So Mexico is....Plan B? Bold strategy, Cotton.
The thought of Californicators getting Ambrose Beirced in Cartelistan fills me with schadenfreude. Bugmen lack the basic self-preservation skills needed to successfully live in third world countries.

The same reason that my office hasn't been able do potlucks or recreational stuff for several years, a toxic combination of incompetence/laziness and activist screaming at the people who were putting in effort.

One of the nicest and most productive ladies I know was reduced to tears because she volunteered to bring chili and got both screamed at plus reported to HR for 'racist cultural appropriation and creating a hostile environment' by some 'Hispanic' newbie who insisted Whites stole chili. Our decades+ office veteran took an early retirement shortly after, and we lost one of our most productive employees. The person that reported her had been here less than 5 months, departed less than a year after and was a lazy worker that constantly caused problems.
And as someone who is full blooded fucking hispanic, hearing people go off about cultural appropriation about my mexican food pisses me off. We were the ones who brought it over in the first place after the alamo and we made a killing off of it. These yuppy spics, yes I'm allowed to call them that, would delightfully take advantage of the affluent sectors of Mexico City or any other mexican city given the chance with the lone difference being they'll punch down against the lower class just like their neighbors only they'll slap a racist and homophobic label on it instead.

All kinds of fuckery happened including two different TV stations "accidentally" showing the final election results a week before the primary, then again the morning of the primary before the polls even opened.

The predetermined winner came out of absolutely nowhere and was also voted for by lots of democrats, in the same strategy used by Hillary against Trump. Make sure a pushover gets elected who poses no challenge. Even if she does win, she'll play nice and do what the dems want. Lockdowns, defunding police, etc.

I don't think they'll let Whitmer lose, regardless. She, the Secretary of State and the AG were the power trio who stole the state for Biden, which even scored Whitmer a spot at his installation.

As well it should have. You can't have the Executive picking and choosing which part of the Legislative package gets to be law and what doesn't. You really want to give Biden that much power?

It kills making a bill poisonous to pass by attaching a rider to it. Line item vetos force topics to be alone in front of Congress to be passed. In other words, if a POTUS wants bills to only be about their core topics, then he can strike out all language that doesn’t pertain to the topic.

I think that the breakdown in spending put $43b of the $80b specifically in legal services. So, yeah. The IRS is going to be using lawyers as a weapon against the regime's adversaries.

Oh jesus.

So slight derail that person is an idiot. Almost 15 years ago I was driving in the CA central valley and I turned on a local radio station and it was two people talking about the history of TEX-MEX. and one dude said

"If you think tex mex is anglos came in and fucked up mexican food then you have it wrong"

Spain owned the american south west and had the mission system where the priest were trying to convert the natives. so you had a blending of cooking tradition there, in the 1930s with the invention of chillipowder is when chilli kinda took off, and if you look in phone books you ll see alot of take out places etc. Fuck I d like to hear this idiots take on east coast chilli that has beens in it vs the meat stew type out west.

@Jaimas one quick question how do you view the difference betweeon your cohort of activists vs progressives?

Is it like all progressives are activist but not all activists are progressives?

The racial component is interesting because I ve read about how the dem party used to have white union managers types and then they opened it up to more people of color and turns out losing members of the "managerial class" can hurt the ability of a group to organize.
