1) Police here are not "Liberal" if this individual is doing something or did something illegal and they find out they will get charged.

GoFundMe doesn't automatically raise goals, the goal will normally stay the same if more than enough money is raised. What's happening here is that the person who set up the page (Keffals) is manually raising the goal whenever the previous goal is reached.

Keep in mind, this is 50k in Leafbux, which is about 40k in USD. I also expect that GFM is going to take at least a small cut of that money, which will then be subject to taxes. He's definitely going to come out of this well, but without access to Keffals' finances (which may not be completely out of the question in the future, given the way that people have been fucking with him), I don't think we're ever going to know HOW well.

To be fair, if someone sent in an email in his name and it led to the raid, it's basically swatting with extra steps.

The weird thing is how one email could apparently lead to a judge signing a warrant and the cops seizing computers. You'd think idiots signing abusive emails with fake names would happen constantly, and police would do some sort of basic check first. Either they're unusually incompetent or something else made them think he was the culprit/dangerous.

I can just imagine some troll copying the 'contact form' trolling that's plaguing one obese Patrick Tomlinson recently. I've known people who are politically moderate, and they still get offended by how conservative media and others are bringing attention to LGBTQ grooming. Even when no assumption is made that being a predatory groomer is intrinsic to being LGBTQ, and even when such disclaimers are made.

One enbie I know of would get EXTREMELY assmad whenever I pointed out the similarities between pedophilic grooming and LGBTQ activist grooming, and how they overlap. Probably because he supports the latter himself, and is afraid to admit it to me outright.
