The better question is how the hell would she afford a beagle/hound dog in the first place.

There’s just been thousands rescued from some awful breeding place. I don’t have a link but it made the papers in the UK.The better question is how the hell would she afford a beagle/hound dog in the first place.
The "gas money" is 100% a grift. Joshy Noodlearms is less than 5 miles from work and there's also an on demand public transit service. This might be dumb as I don't drive so feel free to rate me dumb (I can't afford a car plus I'm a shit driver) but she's begging for fuel every other day. I know fuel is expensive but either her car is inefficient with fuel or, my theory, the money's for pot.
This hysterectomy saga is nuts. Laparoscopic surgeries suck, from personal experience, but this saga is bringing out the munchie in her big time.
Surely none of the rescues that are finding homes for the Envigo Beagles would give one to Polissa, right? They usually ask for vet references and we know how often her animals see the vet. There’s just been thousands rescued from some awful breeding place. I hope with every inch of my body it doesn’t happen but the sheer number of dogs must be overwhelming and hopefully they all get great homes,Surely none of the rescues that are finding homes for the Envigo Beagles would give one to Polissa, right? If one of those sweet dogs ends up in Pol's hoard this thread will reach horrorcow status.

See, if she did that, people would realize she's a shit human being and poor, not just poor.Even if she is just taking the piss (doubt) it's such a shite comment to make when the animal abuse is our biggest gripe with her. She'll subtweet us/indirectly reply to the thread and defend her meat bowls to death but there is not one single attempt of providing any sort of proof to debunk our claim saying her animals live in a shit hovel and are neglected and hoarded.
Feeding animals is simply not sufficient. Shit hovels I've visited in the Middle East do that for their strays. Bitch.
ETA: The moodybeth12 retweet looked familiar. That is the same person who keeps in touch with Shameka.
Did call centers pay $13/hour in 2008? Six months at a Wachovia (lol) call center, a little under two years at a Walgreen's call center, and five months in retail at a Books-a-Million are the only work history she has listed anywhere that I can see. It's possible that's what she made, but that seems slightly high to me; she likely considers anything paying over $10-$11/hour to be a "high-paying" job.She says she made $13/hour in 2008 before disability.

At least she said thank you, despite having all the emotion of thanking a Walmart cashier.
I collect secondhand rats off of Gumtree now, but back when I was still buying little girls from breeders, one respected breeder actually told me that she hated it when people chose kittens specifically for their colour. Her little beasties were breed strictly for temperament and soundness, their coats patterns and colours never came into consideration. She just gave up all claim to being an animal rescue by being specific about breeds she wants. Hope her followers notice that.
You are absolutely fuckin A right about that. Trustworthiness and integrity are definitely currency when you need someone to do you a solid(favor). I've picked up jobs just by word of mouth, being recommended by friends. I will work for my money and I can be trusted not to steal shit. I try to help other people out whenever I can and I have a small circle but we help each other.Bingo.
Mutual aid also works best IRL, among people who know each other because so much of the aid that makes a real difference doesn't come in the form of money. Giving somebody a ride, watching their kids, taking care of their animals, providing services (such as minor car or household repairs, haircuts, making birthday cakes and party decorations, sewing and alterations, etc.), scouting for free stuff or good deals others might want, bulk-buying staple foods together—I could go on.
But in that scenario, you aren't just given what you need by your IRL social network; you're expected to offer useful things in return, so you do. And sometimes, it's inconvenient, but when you know it's the difference between that person getting/keeping a job, or getting health care for themselves or a family member, or being able to make the trip home to see their family again, you do it. Because leaving them to flounder and fail only makes things worse for everybody, and because you might need them to do the same things for you one day. Also, having a reputation for reliability and trustworthiness is a form of currency in itself—it's what got me an apartment after being briefly homeless, and the first job that gave me a toehold up out of poverty.
Being poor sucks. Being poor alone, with no IRL network where you exchange practical help needed in order to keep everyone afloat, is much worse. In that case, you have to beg for help from people who don't need you, who don't really trust you, and will give only the bare minimum needed to get you to leave them alone. And Polissa, because she only understands the "aid" part, and not the "mutual," has no IRL friends-and-neighbors network, so she's reduced to the occasional pity handout from family, raging about the inadequacy of her government tugboat, scolding her Twitter following for not giving her what she claims to need, and being a dismissive, ungrateful twat when they do.
Being poor sucks. Being poor when you're someone like Polissa has got to be hell. But it's one of her own making, so I can't feel too bad about it.
Hope your dog is better!I was thinking about our Polly today. The asshole of a dog got into something he shouldn't have and I had to drop $700 on a vet bill. Do I loose my poor & disabled card now?
Yeah he's fine. Seems pleased with himself for causing chaos lmao. Can I keep the shower flute?Hope your dog is better!
Hand me your tub trumpet, though
