It is absolutely true that black women talk like a dweeby writers room full of neutoric men and women trying to be politically correct and inoffensive while a fat middle class black woman with a degree in bupkis are giving them lectures about cultural insensitivity and how they can't write black.

It's true, I've seen it in other games.
 
I just went and checked out this gameplay video. Yeah, looks pretty obnoxious - she says stuff like "that's what I like!" when you select a weapon or magic power or whatever. That's not even dialogue; that's just the character talking to herself. Yeah, it really seems out of place with the tone of the game.

Another fun game made less fun whenever characters open their mouths is Borderlands 2. Maybe the other ones too but 2's the only one I played. God, how obnoxious that stupid little robot was.

She’s doing exactly what Ms Marvel did in the Avengers game, only worse. And people HATED that in Avengers.

BL3 was infinitely worse than BL2 in terms of “humor”.

Fear Effect series is coming? I never played the original . But the anime inspired cutscenes look cool for ps1 era.

Which leads me to No One Lives Forever. Its like....007 meets Emma Peel meets Charlie's Angels meets Lady Miss Kier and the B-52's? At least that's what the main lady reminds me of. Would love it on switch or ps4 but iirc rights issues? God give me a remaster

Wait a minute, Fear Effect is an Eidos IP, SE only released Sedna and that game came from their "let indies rummage around in our IP dumpster" initiative.
 
I’ve been playing Far Cry 3 recently but it crashes to desktop randomly for no discernible reason and it really likes doing it right when I’m getting pretty immersed and enjoying myself. From what I can tell nobody knows why this happens or how to fix it. It’s really annoying because the game is really good but I feel a bit like it’s trying to punish me for playing it - like Jason Brody’s greatest adversary isn’t Vaas or Hoyt but instead the machine gods which I have clearly angered.

Any more details about the crash?

Footage would be ideal if you have NVIDIA Instant Replay available.

Also yeah Far Cry 3 is fuckin' lit.

I wouldn’t know where to find them - there’s no error message that pops up or anything. And I have an AMD card so I can’t do the replay thing. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to it, it happens pretty randomly.

The easiest solution to attempt is changing the game's renderer to DirectX 9.

Has anyone tried Cult of the Lamb yet? That overly-cutesy style of graphics is usually a red flag, but from what I've seen of it on streams, it looks like a lot of fun and potentially addicting.

He was responsible for being the producer for Dragon’s Dogma, Resident Evil and Devil May Cry as well. If you ask me, he had a very hard working persona that created what was originally the golden years for Capcom, almost up there with Marvel vs. Capcom and Phenoix Wright‘s respective series.

It goes to show most of the old guard are retiring fast and doing so without drama, since they know most young leadership will follow the roles of the corporation and not the leader of the group.

Why do they need a TwitchCon again? Most of their policies have kicked off and/or forced other small streamers to leave the platform due to their ridiculous standards of showing female cosplayer/softcore nude models over real gamers and streamers.

I mean, they just perma banned Wings. :story:

When you check more information on Google, it's probably worse than you think.

The two notable ones are Garry Whitta is known for Rogue One SW while Amy Hennig for Legacy of Kain, Jak & Daxter and Uncharted series.
The co-head writers are just I don't know, like supporting cast or screen writer in TV-series.

From fandom page, TL:DR: Gary Whitta and Amy Hennig are probably brought in for the early world building, while other two are main writers.

So you probably wanna point to Allison Rymer and Todd Stashwick for these horrible cringy young adult novels dialogues kind.

Even back in 2021, Kotaku thought Forspoken were kinda cringe (archive link, you can click it without feeling guilty).
