when it comes to swatting i lean on it being real and not self induced. i think the biggest reason for me is the audio of him squealing,i dont see him getting nearly hat angry if he was doing it to himself. i also dont see sub 1.8 GPA pat as being any sort of master mind. i really cant see him planning things out like this. the other thing is, while it is true his stalkers do mostly seem to be middle aged men, that doesnt rule out a swatting, either one of them could do it as there are certainly the exception to middle age men not thinking swatting is funny, but you do also have younger people taking an interest in him, see this thread as an example.

I really can picture Rick, hands still shaking from the hangover and with his face red from the effort, lifting up a binder almost as over-stuffed as he is so he can flip through countless un-shopped images of his fat body, hundreds of text logs from people genuinely claiming to be lizard people or pokemon just so he can push back the tears and smuckle about finally handing it over to the police.

Just to be told that he's made himself a willing participant in pretty much every single communication with an aTalker over the past few years, and that you can't claim someone's cyberstalking you just because you shot a 'witty' one-liner at them and threw out a "D-DON'T CONTACT ME AGAIN" before they could respond. To the untrained stalker eye a 1.7 or 1.8 GPA is bad, but that's because Patrick is so intelligent the American academic system couldn't comprehend his genius.
