As a person of leftish views in general (though not doctrinaire and very ad hoc) I have to say right now the only sane left wing activity in the English speaking world is that found in workplace unions and people focused on hard economic policy (especially anti-corporate). The rest of it is low effort shrieking which exists thanks to people like Keffals who are too dumb to have anything but HOT TAKES which is a viable business model due to social media's prevalence. Its come to mirror what happened to the American right in the 80s-2000s with the rise of the evangelicals concurrent with cable news and the dropping of the fairness doctrine in radio. The dumbest lunatics have the loudest megaphones and are given those megaphones because they make money by creating idiot tier content for fellow morons. Keffals is like the perfect encapsulation of this and I suspect the hatedom for xzhir is as strong on the (thinking) left as it is anywhere else.

IIRC Lucas mentioned it was a medical professional in their 40s in the Toronto area who "helped" him starting to transition, or at least nudged him in that direction.
And I was just kinda wondering and putting 2 and 2 together; a MtF Doctor in that age range, proficient in psychological manipulation, specialized in Autism (which Lucas probably has), possibly with a grooming agenda, in the same vicinity ...
