Phil has already admitted before how much he loves being told to keep doing what he's doing, he just leaves out the explanation why: he's fucking lazy and spoiled. It's even worse these days because he really doesn't get to eat if he doesn't get enough tips THAT day (aside from his days off). It's from being stupid, but nonetheless, he's not exaggerating his lack of funds for things that aren't Champions.
When he is legit making no money to support his preferred lifestyle of spend everything every day, because people are done tipping him, sending superchats, or gifting subs, his meltdown isn't going to just be from gacha withdrawal. It will also be from the fact that fate let him skate on the practices most others observe, and then changed its mind. He is not the guy who can handle that.

Case in point. Once, ego played into his need for a streak, but now, it's entitlement. Even within in his own narrative, the writing has become more on the wall than ever before, that he needs to make serious changes to the way he lives.
FFS, one of the things he refuses to stop feeling entitled to, his meals out with his wife every day off, he straight-up admits is so. That just by itself questions his narrative, because "broke" and "spending every week having one meal out" don't go together. I've seen people live like that, but they don't bitch about others not facilitating that ill-advised lifestyle, like Phil does six days a week.
It says more than enough, that his response to his admitted less than adequate income per stream, every tine, is to fucking beg instead of a thousand other things that could actually work. It means he's either stupid or lying.
