So, I was watching Yaba (yeah yeah) and she made an interesting observation. I know little of how YouTube works, so I'm taking her word for this, but the reason Chantal's streams get demonetized for "too much swearing" but the reaction channels don't get demonetized for playing Chantal's streams as they react to them, comes down to her stupidity. Evidently, if a video gets demonetized for something like cursing, you can request a manual review, after which monetization is typically restored in these cases. That makes sense to me, since the reaction channels are clearly making bank with or without superchats.

So Gunt, not knowing/caring/having the energy to click the appropriate boxes to appeal things, just lets her videos get demonetized and that's it. It also explains why she's so ready to delete them immediately, if she assumes they're going to be demonetized anyway. So in effect, all her videos are getting demonetized and she's unaware/unable to fix them and make money again.

She'll cut off her nose to spite her face. She's convinced herself that OF will turn out fine -- just fine -- and more importantly, reaction channels will starve. That's all that matters to her. I think she's been genuinely driven insane by the notion that FFG is making more than her for reacting to her content. Maybe she could bear it when she was still making good money, but now she's feeling the pinch and those PARASITES are MAKING CASH. She won't knowingly destroy her "career" to spite her haydurs -- by, say, deleting her channel and getting a real job -- but she'll rationalize some really dumb moves because they gratify her ego. Her feelings are all that matter.

But I am enjoying that this is like an old-time morality play. She cheated on Bibi, and then lost her job, chased stardom and degeneracy, lost her hair, got broomsticked by Nader, and now is talking about doing actual porn in order to make ends meet. All seven deadly sins on display and an arc where her own vices are ultimately her undoing. This is some Greek-level shit right here.

Her size would eliminate most jobs requiring standing for long periods (retail, fast food, etc.) but I doubt she'd have the skill set or relevant experience for office work. Most companies would probably not want someone like her at reception as the 'face of the company.' Thoughts?
