The FBI searched his phone as a result of the threats. However, searching the phone resulted in CP being found, meaning they slapped him with another charge. The phone not only contains evidence for threats but also contains child pornography. He was also arrested on weapons charges so it seems probable he actually was planning on shooting up SAS like the FBI implies and not just making an Elliot Rodger meme.
The question that now remains is if Alejandro is going to state or federal prison.
