Those that are 'ing this post need to consider something:

1 - This troon thing is relatively new. Its been around in it's current politically correct sjw you're a bigot for disagreeing state for a shorter amount of time than most young kids that are only entering puberty have been alive.
2 - Buyer's remorse is a real thing.

Those that regret their actions have started trickling in over the recent few years. The numbers of those that are getting conned into mutilating their bodies are continuing to accelerate. A lot of people seem to talk like everyone who troons out has the same motivations for doing it or that it's all a big conspiracy by some third party, but just from looking at a cows like Keffals, it's a much more cult-like environment: Some are the "leaders" who get off on the fact that they can recruit followers who will look up to them and hang on their every word, and others are the followers who buy into it because they're both desperate to fit into some sort of community and think this really is the miracle that's going to make them happy and solve their problems. (And damned if the whole promise of "here's the thing that will bring you ultimate fulfillment and solve all your problems" isn't straight out of the cult handbook!)

As for how it's treated societally at the moment, it's like if Scientologists had gotten their way and anybody who spoke badly of Scientology got branded as a "suppressive person", even by non-Scientologists. I think our culture as a whole has gotten pretty good at handling (or at least recognizing) these sorts of belief systems in a religious sense, but doesn't quite recognize them in a secular one yet.

A quick glance at their product from a non-CS makes it look like they offer something called "Honeynet" which is a debugging software which includes ddos location, prevention, and solving. But of course their product is new and upcoming so in order to sell their product they rely on being ethical, the same way your local coffeehouse competes with Starbucks. Why bet on the trusted and reliable cloudflare with 80% market share, a 24/7 support staff, $2B evaluation, and a reputation for being the best in the business, when you can be more ethical and choose a minority owned, vegan friendly, trans friendly, locally sourced, ddos protection company who has former google employees!

Whether money is the primary motivation or not, it comes off as someone who is just shitting on a competitor.
Oh and there is no way he still has that email, when you leave your job you leave your email.
