Times when you have felt genuinely sorry for Chris

I felt bad like really bad when bluespike forced him to put his medallion in his ass
And then when barb didn't allowed chirs to go out of the house
And when chris couldn't get one single genuine freind. Megan was all good, but not the freind chris chan needed. He lived with two corpse who couldn't even guide him properly
And what a waste of fucking talent, he knew computers at age of 6, he could develop it and could have become a great it guy or hell even started his own firm.

Rehashed, but the reality is I always felt sympathy.
Because Chris was blatantly according to multiple SSDI diagnosis codes not functional.
However if I can pinpoint just one thing. That an awkward guy playing Pokemans couldn't have just one male friend throughout his entire childhood worth noting. I mean just imagine the kind of person you must have been raised as. You've got people on the Chans, here, life in general who are so utterly broken and can still find reasonable solace in their small niche circles. A back in the day skype group, discord, it doesn't matter. You still built a friendship with someone based on mutual interest. I remember D&D fondly because of this.
Yet here is Chris, who supposedly did not get thrown in with any of the outcast groups so commonplace in a school setting? Not the burnouts? nerds? even the actual reject group of socially non-functionals who still band together for mutual protection? Chris needed one guy friend, one dude to call him a "faggot" without actually being malicious about it. To not be ripping him off or trying to manipulate him in any serious manner. To play some card game and talk about big tits.
I vaguely remember a scene in highschool watching two of the special needs students holding hands and thinking "It's nice the retards can be close to someone." and I think of Chris now.
Just one person who was genuine and Chris not being such a broken mess that he wouldn't ruin it.

I’m sure it’s been said a bazillion times ITT already but the Bluespike incident. Namely the whole medallion-up-the-ass shit. I know I sound like a pussy but I started to feel tears in my eyes at Chris’ distress during what was essential sexually assault of a mentally-disabled man and potentially very dangerous damage to his sphincter.
It was sadism that could certainly rival the origin stories of most serial killers and I’m genuinely surprised that didn’t scare Chris into a deep isolation from everyone like what happened with his babysitter.

People have shot up locations for less.
Considering the "car hit" incident or Chris pepper-spraying the employee.
I think it's safe to say Chris isn't that much of a danger to anyone other than himself and very specific people (children/elders/disables). Thankfully if it was going to manifest into complete psychotics it would have already happened more than likely.

No one forced him to do that. Chris was given options and he chose the ass.
In a moment of cleverness, when told to video record it Chris said yes, but didn't (you can still hear it though). Chris should've just burned the medallion to spare him the embarrassment, I mean he can make another. But for some exceptional reason, he chose to stick broken pieces of said medallion in his ass. I've said it before, but I think Chris has a humiliation fetish when it comes to seeking attention at the expense of his dignity. It became worse once Chris hit 30 and after Bob's death.

I mean he was talented yes like who can master a computer at age 6?
"Mastery" is way overselling it. IIRC, the extent of his programming abilities was correctly copying some BASIC programs he found and getting them to run properly on his Commodore64. That takes some skill, but a lot of people could do that back then - hell, some kids learned how to do that just by playing around with the display-model computers at their local Kmart during shopping trips. It would be legitimately impressive if he ever wrote any of his own programs. Maybe he did and I'm just forgetting, but I doubt it.

You are talking about Chris, right?

I checked on CWCpedia: when Chris was 6, it was 1988. So, probably, if we talk about PC it was OS/2 , MS-DOS or verly early MS Windows (rather 1.0 than 2.0). Well... it will be quite impresive if actually Chris due anything other than playing in Pirates! by Sid M. or shitting his pants, but, as I can, I don't belive that Chris was a 80's computer genius.

Also, BTW - cool avatar, Hotline Miami the best and Biker dindu nuffin.

I’m not sure if it’s a fetish or he just doesn’t feel humiliation like neurotypical people do.

I also ascribe some of this to the ever present laziness. He could go to the trouble of going outside and setting the medallion on fire on a grill or something. Or…..

Chris simply does not feel shame they way normal people do. During the count dankula interview he appears somewhat saddened for once when referencing past trolling experiences.

Probably has been mentioned before but when I learned Bob was bribing people to be friends with him (and the obvious one of Bobs death as well). Its both sad that he was that desperate to find friends for his son he would pay for them, knowing that they will never be actual friends and also sad because of how alone Chris was at points over the years, especially in the early days its easy to feel bad for him. A related thing is how those friends still never even really spent time with him either, I think only during lunch or specific days in highschool (cant really remember) so Bob was basically paying for people to talk to him maybe once or twice a week.

We don't know much about Chris as a kid, but I can imagine he must have been a pain in the ass to talk to and be around.

Regardless of all the things he did as an adult how he was raised was not his fault. Blorb never bothered to teach him how to be a decent person or the proper way to treat others, they just threw him into public school and hoped everything would work out.

Thanks i know its a dumb take..... and its very rare to meet hotline miami fans, sorry for the cringe

Maybe but in the end what my take was dumb so sorry guys.

I grew up fuckin around on an Amiga 500, guess I'll go hack Nasa.
Besides that, the person who even talked about Chris "programming" a Commodore was Bob. The same Bob that decided that special education wasn't right for Chris because he equated it to being in a straight jacket.

For all we know, Chris just looked in a manual or something, and went off of that to copy it, like he does with everything else.
