I just do not get it. I feel like I am watching some sort of brainwashed anti feminist movement. We cannot have equal treatment without acknowledging differences. Yeah shit's grim. It was only recently that a full scale female anatomy model was first developed, for medical students to use in their training, not just learning about systems from a shrunk down replica of the male body and applying it to both. There are key structural differences outside of size alone between men and women. But all medical science has been developed around male bodies, with the exception of pregnancy care. Consider if we developed medicines, protocol and diagnostic practices based only around the female body- imagine how horribly men would fare in that scenario, using only scaled up female bodies that have all the wrong muscle structure, different biological responses for some conditions etc. It would be hateful and cruel. Well, that's the reality for women.


It's a result of women being shoe-horned in around 'men as default', women are just small men with girl hormones concept.
It's why the concept of male trans athletes competing in the women's categories is so viciously sexist- women are not just short men with low testosterone. It's why the sporting bodies thought 'yah, just lower testosterone, then they're the same'. Transwomen are interested in being better at being women than us- because if women are just inferior men, shrunken male anatomy models, with no sovereign characteristics that our society cares to consider outside of men's children- of course they think that.

Remember the "it gets better" movement? It was targeted to Homos, but the sentiment applied to any kid who wasn't part of the norm. Basically every kid, because we all suffer from feeling out of place, ignored, ugly, alone in a crowd, like no one shares our interests or really cares about us at one point or another during our teenage years. But at some point you go on to adult life, maybe moving away from your hometown, and find your place and your people.

The push used to be to "accept yourself as you are and find people who accept you for that as well". Now it's become "change yourself to find acceptance from other people who are also changing themselves to find acceptance".

The regulatory and ethical barriers for testing on kids, infants and fetuses is much higher than on adults, especially for early safety trials. It's not ideal, granted, but it's not entirely the patriarchy not caring enough on women to experiment on them (??)
