Megathread SRS and GRS surgeons and associated horrors - the medical community of experimental surgeons, the secret community of home butchers

Good stitching needs time. You have to close each layer one at a time and put in layers of stitches - the muscle, deep tissue, fascia etc. and THEN you close the skin. Think of how a wound can pull apart - the tension creates scar tissue. To reduce that you want as little tension in each layer as possible and as little tension in the skin as possible. That is achieved by distributing the tension into deeper layers where needed. The idea is that by the time you get to close the skin you are literally closing it, not yanking it together to close up. A good surgeon closes their own work. A bad one sacks it off to the juniors so they can go golfing.
Then you have to have rest to stop too much movement becasue movement equal tension and separation and you need wound care. Once it’s healed to some degree you can move properly to allow softening.
It’s pretty clear that some of these surgeries have insufficient stitching, so they end up having to really put a lot of force in to close the wounds. That leads to the Cornish pasty look or those horrific keloids. Yes some people are more prone than others but I’d bet that most of it is shit technique and shit care
This Getty chick has what I would view as good stitching, presumably because she's a Getty and the last thing a surgeon wants is to upset some insane cursed billionaires.

I saw this on TikTok. What's gone wrong with this? Did the surgeon mark the nipple placement with his eyes shut?
Oh god, it looks like she's just put two pepperoni pieces on there and now they're sliding off...

Have any of the TIFs here had the top surgery without nipples and then just had them tattooed on afterwards? I'm starting to think that would yield a better result than most of these. Sure, on close inspection it's obviously flat, but I've seen some really impressive 3D tattooing and the placement is probably way easier to get right when everything is completely healed and you mark it out beforehand and have a look in different positions etc.

ETA: Just opened the full picture and realised that caption is absolute haram 🕌

Bad nips but cool tattoo, I like how the bars on the arm line up with the bars on the chest.

I think they do know of it but most get their nipples grafted. The standard seems to be a graft. The intriguing thing is that the FTMs I know personally and see online who aint got no nipples don't talk about tattooing them on post chop. They seem to enjoy the no nipple look, which is insane because men have nipples too. This is why I think that the lack of nipples is a sign that you're part of the special trans group. No other group flaunts the fact that they have no nipples.

Call my crazy but I'm starting to think that FTM top surgeries look the way they do because of aesthetics. A lot of FTMs idolize the idea of removing breasts and the pain/suffering of transgenderism, and the scars effectively becomes tokens of proof that she went through the process. The scars are key to the brand of being a trans boy (the nip less look is too). I honestly think if given the choice of scars or no scars, most FTMs would choose scars because they just love the look.

I think you're right that the stitching is sloppy (I'm not a medfag and it looks correct) but I also think that some quack was making a quick buck off of mentally ill women, and then these mentally ill women started to aestheticize the look of the shitty look, so now other quack doctors realize they could get paid a ton of money by being lazy and their customers actively want the shitty result.
This makes more sense than any other theory, including the part about the hack surgeons catching on and realizing that this is what their customers want so hey, more the better for me and my poor/rushed surgical technique!

And it's the most abjectly feminine thing imaginable. "Look how much I hate myself, and how mindlessly I follow the whims of the alpha females around me!!"

I'm not even laughing any more. It's just sad

Was anyone here following reddit tranny I_am_xs?

He got SRS, started leaking shit out of his fauxgina…. Last I saw he had to have a colostomy and was whinging about it to a colostomy support reddit group.

He purged his reddit months ago and I haven’t seen any activity on him for just as long. Wondering if he killed bimself. I was going to try to go on a hunt to try and find out, just wondering if anyone else knows anything before I start (probably) wasting my time.
I followed him fairly closely and as best I can tell this is the story so far, yeah. I don't remember any big developments in the thread after he DFE'd. We only picked up secondhand hints of his ostomy saga after he closed down his reddit account.

I had the same thoughts about a possible suicide. He had had ridiculously high hopes for his neovag, and instead he got one of the worst we've seen yet.

Even that isn’t. THAT great.

Pretty sure it has been shopped to some degree. There’s something weird about her hip area.

What? Don’t your nipples just slide off randomly? I’ve reattached mine twice today alone in this warm weather.
The people who will study this disaster in a few decades are going to be amazed at how stupid our generation was for not picking up on this
They will need to study why the people who did point it out and try to stop it were silenced mercilessly. Makes you wonder how much written history is tweaked to omit such things.

I don't understand how people can go through such massively lifechanging surgeries without bothering to look them up beforehand. I've had extremely minor surgery in the past (walk in and out with an appointment same day) and I still bothered doing extensive research on it, has progressivism corroded their minds to the think all the criticism and side effects available online are just made up by russian bots? How is it possible to be this ignorant of something this obvious when you're this online?
hugboxes, closed communities and not enough information online. Oh, and the surgeons you're talking to won't tell you your neovag will kill you some day.

Well...the people you are talking about are convinced they are the opposite sex. The actions of these people don't make sense because these idiots aren't sane. There is a post of a man here who visited a srs clinic & heard another man there crying & screaming. And YET this fucking idiot got his genitals butchered at the exact same clinic later....and of course it went horribly wrong and then he complained on Reddit.

Not even the horrifying screams of another man were enough to stop this man from getting his genitals multilated.

They get pretty deep into loving the scars and complications.
All those pieces of art are kinda self-fetishizing. Every little thing needs to be plastered online, to become aesthetic and "meaningful".
The struggle those ftm face are real, (mental health issue, rejection, depression) but also blown up out of proportions. They need to make sense of the hell they put themselves through and the "struggle" becomes it's own destination. They are trapped by their beliefs that they will change society and reality with "representation" and by imposing a new vocabulary on others. Also they are addicted to positive feedback and social media notifications, so every little detail of the "trans journey" needs to be documented, romanticized, and turned into content for the content machine. Maybe they will become famous transfluencers and this will become their full-time jobs. On the way they turned themselves into roadshows attractions and don't seem to realize that they commodified their own transness for other people's consumption. You don't join the cohorts of men by talking about your missing breasts.
And they accuse onlookers of having a predatory cis gaze but they court that cis gaze everyday.

Romanticizing fragility and a form of elegant suffering like they do is ...a very adolescent thing to do btw. They feel like Young Werther or Victorians ladies, all about delicate complexion and easily bruised feelings, ready to faint at any moment.
