I'm sure at least half of the people on this thread probably remember what Encyclopedia Dramatica was back in the old days of the Internet but for those that don't know what that is or if your memory is fuzzy then let me give you a refresher.

Back in the day, Encyclopedia Dramatica (also abbreviated as just ED) is a troll/shock site that was basically the proto-Kiwi Farms that would document Internet drama and idiots on the Internet in general. The most notable dramafest that happened to ED at the time was the whole shitshow with Chris-Chan where he tried to take down his ED article so that people wouldn't know much about him which only resulted in a Streisand effect that made people know who CWC is later on.

Throughout most of the peak years of ED, most of the idiots that was featured on ED at the time have tried and failed to take down ED because they lacked the self-awareness for why they even have an ED article to begin with. But these days though, Encyclopedia Dramatica has now faded into irrelevancy as Kiwi Farms would start to replace ED (because Kiwi Farms is far more organized and more informative than ED ever was in its peak years and the fact that ED never did adapted to the current environment of the Internet and so ED suffered a slow and painful decay and decline later on).

But the point I'm trying to make here is that Keffals is doing the exact same thing to Kiwi Farms what Chris-Chan did to ED back in the late-2000's because CWC went apeshit when he would discover that ED had an article about him and tried to both vandalize and take down his own ED article which made things worse for him and looking at this shitshow it seems that Keffals is making the exact same mistakes CWC did years ago.

Now even if by some remote chance that Keffals somehow manages to take down Kiwi Farms for good and gets Null to be put in a prison cell, what will Keffals and his goons really accomplish? If Kiwi Farms were to get shut down for good then by that point on everyone is going to move on to whatever will be the next successor of Kiwi Farms and we'll be right back at square one. Just because you ban people off parts of the Internet doesn't mean they'll get lost in the Aether. Look what happened to those right-wingers after Big Tech banned them off their platforms; the right-wingers didn't really went away after they got banned off Youtube and Twitter, they just moved on to other platforms that will accept them. If history is an indicator then knowing the history of the Internet tells me that this will not end well for Keffals in the long term anyway.

This is one of the reasons I consider most of this stuff to just be an abusive relationship on a societal scale.

Right down to the guilt-tripping/accusations when you don't caretake them, and the smear campaign when somebody eventually grows enough spine to dump their asses.

Cloudflare offers DDoS protection and other security services. I don't think they host websites. Kiwifarms is self hosted afaik.

Cloudflare offers a CDN, they offer nothing to do with hosting.

If Cloudflare was to drop the farms then jersh would just have to grab another cdn like akamai
