Most people's experiences with Smash kiddies are more or less the same with the only variety being personal experiences. During a comic store's local events , the Smash faggots would hog up certain portions of the store with their Wii set ups (sometimes they play other weeb games like some shitty Naruto fighter). Their autism went up ten fold when someone popped up Project M. I remember one Smash tard got kicked out of the events for being rowdy, and when he came back he almost ruined a store owner's X-Box (2 guys ran that event back then until one of them said fuck it, moving elsewhere with his now wife). He almost ruined the X-Box 360 by dumping his greasy BK food on the console while he nagged people to pick Sub-Zero in MK9 (Even when I told him Sub was terrible in that game, he continued to harass people). Two of the Smash kids tried to start shit with me, one autist chimped over me "mispronouncing" Dedede' s name (He tried to mispronounced Ryu to get me until I mispronounced other names like Sagat and Blanka), and another one was being a bitch when I was beating him in Ultra SF4 matches. Those local events were not my first run in with Smash faggots because I dealt with some of them at Brawl's midnight release.

This is my take from watching her shitty content, but she just feels like a breadtuber attention whore and one of those champaigne lefties (Anyone who is cool with someone like Hasan is probably an asshole). A while back on Pedomenco's stream, someone brought up she chimped out a couple of times during her cosplay days. I could be wrong, but she is annoying like your typical e-thot that lives in her own bubble. I heard she got into some V-tuber drama a few months ago, but I try not to give a shit about V-tubers. The bitch keeps popping up from Youtube's algorithms (probably cuz lbgt/rainbow shit).

It didn't matter what color you were... it was all about who you main in Marvel|SF|MK|whatever. What ultimately ruined it was the lamestream discovering there was money to be made and thus colonizing what had been until then a cultural niche. They swooped in, gentrified it, homogenized it, pasteurized it, relabeled it, and resold it as if it were their own. Pure, 100% Coca-Colonization. Now we're all back where we started -- in isolated pockets trying to find each other so we can have a good time and maybe call each other a niggerfaggot for fun.

It's pretty well known even outside the FGC that Smash players are the epitome of the Cat Piss Man meme, so restating it just feels redundant.

The only variety in the stories are the antics they have done in events. They really acted up at CEO and Evo in 2016, but of course TOs like Mr. Wizard and that sjw cuck JeBailey pretend to "punish" Smash players because the Smash kiddies are the only ones that bring in money and people for weed and prey for pedos/rapists tournaments. Then you have the social media faggotry found in the Smash thread (someone is a woke fag, something about controllers, or there's a sexual predator in the community, etc.). There were reasons why Smash was banned from Evo for a few years, and people tried to warn the fgc that bringing back Smash in events was going to be an absolutely horrible idea. Nintendo should never support the Smash scene again.

Like someone once told me, Smash is a party game, not a fighting game.

The way I see it, as it was made by the Japanese who are known to be conservative, how could you support a perversion that turned a casual party game into something serious? By people who are not your own? That's my head canon for why Nintendo won't support it's fighting scene. It was never their intentions and was twisted by not only someone who's not their racial demographic, but also older than their targeted demographic.

Nintendo won't support smash because the top players are consistently exposed as child molesters, and no amount of dedicated PR suits can fix that public perception at this point. There is zero business incentive to give these smelly fuckers the time of day when normal people are buying the game anyway.

Sakurai himself said it was a party game and he actually played fighting games. Besides Nintendo doesn't believe in investing money in esports to begin with let alone giving cash prizes.. Besides that fanbase is worse than the rest of the FGC combined and has their own thread for a reason.

That issue is with the Ultimate scene, really. There aren't many issues, I've seen, outside of your standard ones and the Hax$ thing.

I find interesting to see some old heads here, for me the key factor when we compare both old and new FGC is the passive aggresiveness at least in my area, before at the local arcades people would outright tell you sucked in your face or say you were a bitch for using X/Y character, some things obviously escalated but in the end, people didnt hold back, adults behaved like adults and kids like kids, I honestly had a great time.

the real turning point for me was back in the day in the shoryuken forums when people debated if the smash community should join evo, the vast majority of people there unanimously refused to see smash in some events since they considered they would bring esports and suck the soul out of the community, plus they had their own place (smashboards) to organize themselves, the rest is history, I love that games are more accesible now (before you had to check a specific board in SRK dedicated to the local FGC in your town) but now I feel a lot of organizers act like total spergs, people even bitch about others using """minor coded characters""" in games like melty blood.

This is one reason why I believe the US is getting behind compared to the rest of the world in fighting games, I think punks sums up the situation better.

Yeah no, all the kid diddlers in ultimate have been around since melee. The only reason ultimate is being blamed for fostering a scene of child molester tolerance is because it's merely the most recent game, smash has always been wet garbage and anyone who defends the community either got indoctrinated or is already a pedo himself.

A user by the name Ouji-Senpai claims they were banned from a tournament for playing Akiha, on the logic that they are a "waifu player" (Cached Link)

Now if true this would be a funny event which is obvious to anyone with two brain-cells; the majority of the cast could qualify as "waifu bait" and get you banned by this logic. In fact, it's too perfect.

Ouji is soon pressed to provide actual receipts to the event. No link to the bracket, no TO names, just a screenshot of them starting up a match on netplay.
