His delivery is so grating, that girl voice he does must be taking a lot of effort because it constantly sounds like he's about to start crying. He's obviously going for that BBC documentary style delivery with the soft voice and upper-class annunciation, but he's trying so hard to get all the words out in a suitably demure and girlish fashion that it sounds very slow and strained, like he's reading a storybook to a class of particularly retarded children.
Like in these clips of Lucy Worsley and Janina Ramirez for comparison- Lucy has a pretty deep voice and she also likes to dress up, but her delivery is far more natural and her voice is pleasant as opposed to grating. These sorts of documentaries on the BBC are actually designed partly for schools -the topics often coincide with the curriculums- and so she's speaking clearly and slowly so that even a child could understand, but it's not patronising or sluggish. She's consious about looking cute with the wig and the dress but it comes across as a little more charming than toobz because you can see that she really is a slim and attractive woman and there's no need for camera trickery or careful placement of clothes and makeup. She's moving around and animated, she sounds like she's enjoying herself. Same with Janina and the other poeple in the second clip- they're excited to tell you about what they're looking at, and the focus is not on themselves but on the objects on display.
Ollie in comparison is so stiff and self conscious in his videos that you could probably replace him with one of those animated rantsonas, and he sounds like he's reading from a script. I get that he's doing it for a bit to try and look artistic but it really doens't work if there's nothing visually interesting going on. How narcissistic do you have to be to think that people are just going to stare happily at your mostly motionless body purely because you're pretending to be the Salvator Mundi or wearing a bunch of hotglued craft felt? When he does move it looks unnatural, like an actor trying too hard to sell the lines, and he always snaps back to whatever silly pose he's holding which really just makes it look like he's deeply self conscious and uncomfortable. His feminine mannerisms are forced- look back at the clips and you can see that the women there don't need to do any of that head shaking or finger wagging, and while they move in a fairly animated fashion it's not overblown or exaggerated.
Toobz lacks the natural delivery which most good presenters have and it really shows in his body language and voice. Maybe it's because he's covered in a year 5 art project and trying very hard to sit like a ~lady, but there's something very stiff about him and he's far less confident in his posture than even Contra- and Nick's worn far more uncomfortable getups in some of his videos. This has nothing to do with Ollie being a trron, and everything to do with him being a bad actor and presented.

And yes, she is totally into sharing her knowledge with viewers, it's not about her. Comparing her to Olly is almost unfair, she has serious academic and career credentials- Oxford BA, Phd from Sussex, chief Curator for the Historic Royal Palaces charity "responsible for maintaining the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace State Apartments, the Banqueting House in Whitehall and Kew Palace in Kew Gardens. She oversaw the £12 million refurbishment of the Kensington Palace state apartments and gardens completed in 2012."- Wikipedia. Very impressive!

I once attended a private high school graduation, which had a deformed midget in a motorized wheelchair give a motivational speech. He went on for way too long, and the absurdity that I couldn't help but see was that's his only career prospect. Very well said. I was about to REEEEE about Lucy getting mentioned in the same sentence as Ollie because she's a perfect angel who can do no wrong in my eyes, but you covered it.
