I'm intrigued by these possibilities as - like I said before - neither the meth lab nor the home distillery theories quite made sense to me. Excuse my ignorance, but is making BHO different from extracting THC like in @Fatty2988 's post? When you say they blow up a lot - how much is a lot? Like meth labs a lot? What part of the process causes this? Finally is it the type of thing easily detected by neighbors and could you make an adequate profit (ya know, assuming it doesn't blow up) ?
He's using the setup I posted to make BHO I think. I'm still unsure as to why he would have the equipment, and still highly doubt he is even capable of doing it.

Your extracting the oil from the cannabis trim which contains thc amongst other things.
If you extract indoors which is what Nader would do because he wouldn’t want his neighbours viewing you have to release the butane.
I wonder how he would do that without creating a gas leak in a closed environment.

The main problem with smell would be the trim not the process. Sealed vac bags or jars take care of that. You wouldn’t have the same issue with next door reporting you as you would a meth lab. They stink to high heaven.
This closed loop extractor is a serious piece of equipment and likely cost a few thousand dollars at least. I wonder if he bought it new or if was a second hand deal from one of his friends.
I don’t know the laws in Canada but I seriously doubt its legal to operate.

My guess is she took FMLA to take care of her mom, that’s big with CHR. They take FMLA like it’s going out of style. And it’s Canada so it’s a LONG process to get fired.

A quick look online regarding FMLA suggests she probably isn’t eligible for it. Additionally, she needs to provide a medical certificate to CHR from a qualified health practitioner that states she is in fact eligible. Based on my look over the site (I’ll link below) I don’t think there’s any way a health practitioner would give her that cert. Her mom‘s care is already arranged for, and a third party is caring for her. Driving her to and from surgery occasionally wouldn’t qualify her for this type of extended leave. And if she was taking FMLA, it would make so much more sense for her to just say that instead of deleting comments and blocking people who ask about her job.

Additionally, we heard her say in her own words that CHR had just about had it with her. They had been writing her up, making her sign shit, suspending her, and even warned her that one more fuck up and she’s out. Basically, it sounded like they were going through the process of getting rid of her dumb ass. Anyway, I’m not doubting whether or not you worked with her or were in the same circle, etc. and it doesn’t really matter too much, honestly. I just don’t believe she’s still employed at this time.

Poking around even a bit, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out who JMA is. Maybe she forgot about P (unless you all just always called it P instead of Phoenix), but no way she doesn’t understand who is meant by JMA.

She works for the private sector and they could have their own rules for taking leave, she could have a shit ton of leave saved up or sick days, etc. I don't think they're unionized based on a quick google search but on this review site: https://ca.indeed.com/cmp/C.h.-Robinson/reviews, seems like it has a good Benefits package.

On one of Yaba’s recent streams Sam mentioned in the chat that DD DID lose her job and that it had been verified but I don’t remember seeing her say anything else about it like how it was “verified” or who she got the information from.

We really don't know that she was ever written up by her employer, or suspended, or warned. In that case, the period of absence shall not begin before the date on which the criminal offense was committed, or before the expiry of the period, where applicable, and shall not end later than 104 weeks after the commission of the criminal offense. This does not apply in case of an employment injury respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases. An employer is prohibited from dismissing, suspending or transferring an employee who has 3 months’ service for the reason of absence due to illness or accident, provided the absence is for not more than 17 weeks within a 12-month period. Act Respecting Labour Standards, §79.1; Amended by Bill 176 § 33 & 34.

This type seems more likely if any.
Leave for Caregiver of Family Member
An employee may be absent from work for a period of not more than 16 weeks over a period of 12 months where he must stay with a relative or a person for whom the employee acts as a caregiver, as attested by a professional working in the health and social services sector and governed by the Professional Code, because of a serious illness or a serious accident. Where the relative or person is a minor child, the period of absence is not more than 36 weeks over a period of 12 months. I don't know specifically how Leafland does it, but in the US there has to be a lot of documentation to support official leaves of absence (covered by Federal law) - like you can't just tell your boss you would like to take weeks off because you're sick. You would have to have paperwork from a doctor saying you're sick, can't perform job functions, and can't come back to work until X day.
