I'm a socialist, a general unionist, and I feel like I'm very socially progressive on a lot of issues, but even then I fucking hate keffals and the legion of troon. I wouldn't even necessarily call it a transgender thing, just a terminally online autist thing. These kinds of people spent their formative years constantly online with other autistic lonely teenagers, and they get into this weird brain worm infestation that turns them into narcissistic assholes who use politics to justify their autistic tendencies and will do anything they can to amass whatever modicum of fame and power they can, so they can use it to "righteously" harass anyone who disagrees with them as a sort of revenge to the bullying they experienced throughout school or whatever happened to them.
I have met transgender people who are genuinely well adjusted and normal people who just want to exist as the gender they identify with. The /online/ trans community on the other hand, it is like night and day, their wants and motivations.
