I think they meant that at this point, Lily doesn't know how long she can keep the truth of her misdeeds from the people that support her, so in this particular stream she just threw in all the potential prompts at once hoping that somebody will chime in with "Lily sure isn't one to talk here, because... ". By "she wants it all to end", they meant that she wants to be found out as the person who wrote Stockholm, the true abuser in her and Lizzy's relationship, and so on; she wants to be universally canceled, and to have all her social media exposed and terminated, and to have some excuse to disappear from the public eye.
And I don't blame her. This whole Little Miss Perfect act and the constant denial seems exhausting. I don't know how she's kept it up for this long, but as time goes on she just seems angrier and more tired every time she appears in front of a microphone.

The mlp fandom and the brony community went fucking nuts after the Toonkritic controversy. even Equestria daily commented on it. in the immediate following year after, nearly everyone made a video about it. There were panels at conventions about how to keep the fandom safe for the underaged members of the fandom. I will be the first to confess the fandom has it's problems, but let it be known that it was quick to kick Toon out, his former friend group reported him to a bunch of cons and he was summarily banned from all of them. and while some weirdos defended him, no one particularly noteworthy did. You can say that some people could have handled it better but it was at the least, publically discussed and addressed rather than just ignored or swept away under the rug.

You can say what you will, but the brony fandom has enough awareness to practice this much when it comes to irl spaces.

Let’s not forget that the two biggest voices in claiming Josh was defending and obfuscating Zack were Lily and Actual Pedophile Vida. Except that Batman and Spiderman aren't dedicating their lives to vengeance. They were both traumatized, and while one could say "So was Aliana!", they are actually driven by guilt, not anger. Uncle Ben was killed (at least in the continuities I'm familiar with) because of Peter's inaction directly resulting in a criminal being allowed to run free and kill Ben; Bruce's parents were killed because he threw in a tantrum at the theater and when they left because of it they were murdered and he's always borne the guilt of his selfishness costing them their lives. It wasn't just 'the criminal element must pay', it was 'I was responsible for this tragedy and it's my duty to prevent others from suffering as I have'.

Aliana's entire thing is 'Luke killed my mother for completely understandable reasons what with her being a Sith Lord and a child slave runner (but it was only once so it was okay) and if I kill him it'll fix everything'. It's completely self-centered. Lily's even explained that Aliana doesn't so much miss her mother as she's annoyed she didn't get to complete her Force training.

With Batman and Spiderman there's that core of understandable sorrow and loss driving their responsibility. With Spiderman it's a pretty direct indictment of his inaction. With Batman it's more irrational (how could baby Bruce foresee getting antsy at a boring theater production would cascade the way it did?), but people are irrational and will hold on to this kind of guilt, and it's acknowledged in plenty of Batman stories that Bruce is not okay.

With Darth Mayrik, her actions caught up to her and justice came calling (however much Lily tries to retcon that actually Mayrik dindu nuthin') and Aliana is pissed because it made her life harder. It's the exact selfishness that Batman and Spiderman are fighting from within themselves.

These I'm lumping together because they dovetail into my pet theory that this is why Lily hates Christianity and by some extension Judaism.

Also that anon saying "It's a Jewish belief" and then adding in "Confessing to a Catholic priest" is hilarious. You know. All those Catholic priests in the synagogues. (I'm guessing they were just saying 'if it was supposed to be religious it's the equivalent of <other religious practice> but that ain't how it's written.)

It's not just about 'abusive sky daddy' and how Lily hates the idea of a higher power holding to account, it's that Christianity is specifically a religion of forgiveness. That is the point that separates it from Judaism-- Christ's sacrifice to forgive all of humanity, in perpetuity, for their sins, if they are willing to accept that forgiveness. Different denominations have their different beliefs and the merit of those can be argued, but Christianity at its absolute core boils down to that: divine forgiveness.

And isn't that just revolting.

To expect that the wronged party should have the grace to forgive the person who wronged them. To expect that somebody be the bigger man and let go out of their anger. To expect the victim to be the one to be able to move on. The victim! THAT GUY did me wrong, I'M the victim here, why should I be expected to forgive HIM!? They should live out all the rest of their days knowing that I. Hate. Them. They should not know a day of peace from that fact!

Because Lily certainly doesn't. She could. But she won't. And if she has to be mired in her own suffering, why shouldn't everybody else?

Funny enough, Lily kinda proves my point here, with the 'canon' conclusion to the Sith Resurgence being that Aliana essentially dissolves the First Order and Republic to rule over the Galaxy with her own totalitarian government, and this is seen as a good thing because this is only seen through the perspective of Aliana and her family, people directly benefitting from complete and total control over the galaxy. She literally destroys a fascist regime to replace it with her own, but this one is okay because a black lesbian girlboss waifu is in charge of it and she feeds homeless Rodian children with government money or something. Totalitarianism is still just a stone's toss away from fascism, Lily.

This thread brought up a very good point to the murder issue too: martyrs. The Diamonds were only hated by...what, 6 gems? If Steven had killed them, he would have potentially hundreds of thousands of gems coming to avenge them. By killing them, he would've been everything the Diamonds said Rose was, and worse because he actually did it. He would have also lost the ability to help the corrupted gems.

And this isn't to say that Steven likes the Diamonds now, he clearly isn't comfortable with them. He treats them like he's avoiding that one uncle who goes on about Qanon at family gatherings.
