I seriously doubt the entire family is hardcore twanzfobes. I think it's just that he's an actually repulsive human being in every other way and would be even if he still had a dick. A lot of these sorts troon out so they have a self-serving victim narrative of twanzfobia, rather than face the fact they're just shit in every other way too.

That cannot be overstated enough.
It started out as a requirement to become a civil servant. Later on, they were forming their own groups and assassinating members of the royal family, trying to choose who ascends to the throne, etc.
