Back when he was first discovered by users here, Yaniv was basically untouchable. You had to use coded languange if you wsnted to talk about him on twitter. You can legally do it. Just need a few permits with the government and make sure your site isn't facing inwards to China publicly.
Edit: Even then, maybe it would be possible to route it through an I2P instance to the clear web.

There's a special permitting process for that in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (Roskomnadzor but can kick you off a server at any time) and Ministry of State Security (FBI). It helps if your fourm isn't in Chinese and especially if you're criticizing the shit out of the west right now (this may change but unlikely).

@Null would have to setup a company in China, and then apply for the access permit, and then make sure that those specific servers do not allow public access from Mainland China (both PRC China +HK + Macau and maybe ROC/Taiwan) itself.

Like I said before, it should be a last resort, but something worth exploring.
