I dunno what Null is up to right now; I understand he is working hard on trying to restore a lot of what was loss, but he should have someone (or himself) put together a media package and start trying to distribute it and maybe start a separate thread to post what is put together and allow discussion as to what to add and omit.
The longer Kiwi Farms waits to counter the media narrative, the more the troons get to saturate the media with their propaganda. It will be harder to push Kiwi Farms side of the story and even debate the false narratives because it would already sink in that its a black/white issue of good v. bad and not the shades of gray that it really is. No one AT ALL is pushing back on troon lies, Lucas was on that loser podcast just spitting lies and misinformation and Ethan just sat there agreeing with it (even dancing around the whole "grooming" allegations; you can see he understood what was happening and changed the subject quickly). The longer we wait, the harder it is to change peoples' minds, and then it is too late.
The media stuff can be done respectfully and tactfully also, there were initiatives during the Nick Bate trial and Chris Chan ordeals. This now has become much more than just an issue regarding an internet forum, this is about freedom of speech/expression and the protection of online communities being silenced through corporate pressure and special interest groups. The only reason the Farms is being targeted is because it brings horrible things that these "celebrities" have done to the light and they don't like it and they want it silenced. Lucas saw that there were terrible things he has done posted and being discussed and decided to kick the nest to cause an issue that would lead to silencing, his actions were so thinly veiled, it might as well be a window. Notice how no one is even questioning for proof that anyone on the Farms doxxed him. There is literally no evidence provided of anything (that I have seen) Lucas has said was committed by the Farms and yet he states with full confidence that people here did it, whatever "it" is. These are things that MUST go in the press package (long and short form) to have these outlets question the authenticity of what Lucas says. He already made a mistake saying that he was SWATed by the police in numerous interviews and the police had to go out and explain that the SWATing never happened. The second mistake right off the bat was the GoFundMe that was supposed to be used to hire lawyers to sue the police but was used to buy a bunch of crap and go to Europe. These are things that, if it were any other normal person, would have been looked at with suspicion, but because he is part of a "protected class," he has no one questioning it. This is why Null has to move to an offensive stance with the media and provide them with this as a counter to Lucas's bullshit. But he is only one person....

People are right to be pessimistic about the media as a whole, but it is wrong to resign to helplessness and hopelessness. When only a fraction of a percent of the news media are reporting Kiwifarms rebuttal points or any balance, it's pretty easy to improve the situation by ten times, and that makes a difference. The difference is that instead of being practically impossible for 3rd parties to learn both sides, the situation becomes one where if they make a reasonable effort they can find out the truth. Most people are intellectually lazy sheep, but that is never true of a 100% of humanity, which is why we have electricity, antibiotics, legal rights etc.

Concrete example:
Ethan from H3H3 had Keffals on - he is totally sympathetic to Keffals martyr grift, but for balance, he put Keffals criticism from the H3H3 subreddit to him. Keffals handled the questions very badly. While that was happening a bunch of people saw there is more to the story.


Instead of Null cursing at journalists, perhaps he should have a text document with clear factually correct points to correct specific accusations against KF.

Examples:
- Keffals persistently harasses people (reportmaxxing, DDOS etc) and called for SWATting. KF was a repository of this behaviour which Keffals wants to conceal.
- Keffals campaigned to remove Cloudflare support from KF so that cybercriminals could illegally DDOS the website.
- Persons performing swattings have not been identified, and KF forums do not organize or call for these crimes.
- BYUU is alive, similar details about the other suicides that have been falsely linked to KF.
- etc. etc. correct any other recurring smears.

It really matters how quickly you can correct misinformation - when the news cycle moves on, perception is largely fixed. If some counterarguments are presented in that window, it may prevent a onesided consensus forming. It is quicker to copy & paste the relevant points when contacted, than get sassy with the journos.

If you think this is all futile, ask yourself how did you become aware that you can't believe everything that you read, and a lot of celebrated martyrs are frauds? They can't control everything.

Whether Null uses this or not, I believe a Kiwifarms F.A.Q would be useful. Any of us can then use that in debates about this on the web.

I think KF only had around 3,000 users when I joined and it had a pretty diverse user base then.

Internet users in general are far more aware of things like VPNs and Tor than they were even 5 years ago and the Tor browser itself is much better today than it was a few years ago.

I'm not sure that us being delisted from search engines is a bad thing in the short term. Posts from KF will still be quoted and discussed on sites which are listed, as they are being now.

If you are expecting the big players to stop sucking their corporate funders' dicks, you're bound to be disappointed. What we should be aiming at are fringe, counterculture publications and bloggers. I don't care for wide exposure, but rather documenting what really happened and why, for the history of the internet to be preserved and to reach even a small group of people who are alienated and fed up with homogenous, propaganda-like narratives that are barren of nuance and hostile to counterarguments. You underestimate the sheer number of geeks, autists who like digging to the very core of an issue just for the pleasure of it and to feel more 'enlightened' than the normiehood, as well the growing number of frustrated people who keep on getting banned from every space for being rude or daring to question the dogmas of the current year ('midgendering' and using the word 'groomer' gets you banned from Twitter, profiles of political parties get removed from Facebook - this would be unthinkable 10 years ago). These people will pay attention.

The cretins who published smear articles on the Farms did us a tremendous favour, frankly we should all feel grateful for their whoredom. They made normies notice us. Some of these normies are smarter than others and will conclude that things don't add up - why have they never heard of such a satanic entity all these years of spamming reddit and shitposting in Youtube comments?
