General GunTuber thread

First to return after downtime! The amount of shit Ian and crew are putting out regarding the lawsuit makes me think they're really scared that they actually did fuck up legally and they at least want public support behind them.
At least I got my book

Apparently my post disappeared somewhere.

Anyway, with the revelation that it was most likely pistol powder used in the offending cartridge, clocking in at a whopping 450k PSI, ergo nine fucking times normal operating pressure for .50 BMG, and about twice the numbers people were initially speculating on, I'm hoping KentuckyBallistics will actually test out such a murderload in the future.
T1000.gif

Not just on an RN-50 to conclude it all, but also on a nice and new Barrett M82, so that people bitching and mewling about safety margins can shut up when the bolt carrier on the Barrett proceeds to make the ballistic dummy look like the T1000.

I wonder if Russ will ever return.
Now we're back on .net he just might. Part of the problem during the Troonpocalypse is that Null kept having to change domains just to keep things online. We're likely to see most people back given enough time. Assuming they didn't use burner emails, anyhow.

If he does I hope he just creates an anonymous account and posts that way.... Having a blue tick mark next to your name is usually not a good thing on this site.

I am still curious how such a round would be handled by an M2, I can just imagine the entire action unassing itself through the back plate or something like the whole barrel locking lugs shearing. But that definately won't happen because price.

I really don't think he cares. He already had a checkmark here, and he knew the website's reputation. It's not like Kiwifarms became any worse for the trannies to begin with.

I don't know what kind of brain damage Deviant suffered to make him such a faggot, but I bet he gets the Pox sooner or later.
It's all about getting laid, that's why these guys go out of their way to be the biggest ally out there. He's your garden variety loser that hopes that women are going to swoon at how brave he is on the Internet but the best he'll get is some 5/10 used up whore who needs a cuck to "settel down with" so she can dom him. He'll be getting fucked up the ass by some tranny while he watches he girl get nailed by her boyfriend if he's not careful.

That's assuming he hasn't bought his own bullshit. Virtue signaling is a full time job and you can't pick and choose what cause you fight for because that's a one way track to getting canceled and labeled a "TERF".

That's one theory, the other is that Deviant (and Karl for that matter) are right in the middle of the venn diagram of libertarianism, tech and guns. There's a fairly large number of retards and perverts in all those groups, so being in the middle of all of them is a recipe for disaster.

I suppose that fine if that's what he's into and he's happy, but fuck me if it isn't pathetic.

It's not really that big of a deal, and he didn't really seem to actually care that much. He was pretty chill mostly, we'd disagree but it wouldn't be a massive spergout, he'd stand up for his friend and we'd negrate him, and that was that.

That'd be interesting to know, but I would cry bitter tears at seeing a transferable M2 grenade. Maybe he could find someone with a post-sample one who's willing to carry out the experiment. Given the insanely high pressures, and the M2 having probably a less strong lockup than the RN-50 (the screw plug turned out to be ridiculously robust), I'm betting the bolt and chamber would be shrapnel.

Doesn't the Kentucky Moron come from a wealthy family to begin with? Why would price be an issue? Nobody that's hurting for money is blasting produce with $100 per round .700 Nitro.

I don't like Karl or his views. ( And after i started to watch Ian's stuff after the 2018 revelation of Karl's politics, it's funny how Inrange shit started to slowly dissapear from his channel, Karl barely appears now and he seems to have switched to other guntubers)

But i think this lawsuit is complete bullshit.
It strikes me as at least odd that shortly after a rich anti-gun philantropist started investing cash into a company that decided out of the blue to stop making AR-15 lowers and sue the company who decided to fill in the niche.
I wonder if this will be the way of the 2A fights until they can pack the Senate and Supreme Court?:
  1. Rich anti-gun dude buys defunct company or just outright decides to sue on a whim
  2. Sues to oblivion gunmakers, sellers, etc with idiotic lawsuits that he can keep funding
  3. Company bleeds to death due to defense costs or halts production/sales via some injunction

Amazing conspiracy theory over plastic lowers which is a niche to begin with.

What other reason a dude who said on court "i don't like AR-15s" and donated to the most anti-gun politicians would have to invest in a gun company that stopped making products as soon as they got "popular" cause 2 spergs creamed over it on a youtube video?

He sure picked a great target. Dumb bullshit only the most autistic gamer gunners and moron InRange cultists want.

The WWSD rifle is definitely a niche product, but the KP-15 lower is actually kinda popular. They're cheaper than an aluminum lower + buffer tube + stock + grip, so they're pretty handy for tinkerers who assemble their own rifles. Also you get a flared magazine well. Those usually cost extra on aluminum lowers.

When going to the range, I've seen a decent number of people with KP-15s, and a couple of people have remarked on my KP-15. The highest serial number I've noticed is in 30,000s, and the product came out in early 2021, so they're averaging sales of 50 a day. That seems like it's reaching an audience beyond InRange fans and gamer gunners.
