Windows Server actually lets you uninstall Defender (Just whitelist the entire C drive on Windows Defender, guys.

). If only they let you do that with the client versions If you're like that, put up your own server for e-mails. You can pay an e-mail provider to keep you private or you can pay a domain name provider to provide an adress to your own server.Vote with your wallet and actually pay for an email account, preferably with a company that promises and also delivers privacy and no advertising, will reasonably defend you from government spooks playing data krakens and preferably stores everything encrypted. (by advertising it but you also can figure this out by them warning you that they can't get your emails back if you lose your password) The few bucks a year you'd save with staying with google is literally not worth dealing with all their bullshit and having your stuff searched through.
I remember doing this with a shareware Windows 3.1 sound editor. There were different waves patterns intended to induce various states, and even instructions for embedding subliminal messages. Pretty sure it had zero effect, but the authors put in a lot of effort for a shareware. It was an amazing piece of software, embedding binaural beats into any piece of music. It'd take me forever to go into the woowoo pseudoscience of it all, but I loved being able to embed some 'chillout' effect to a song, and you could program your own frequencies, and I bought a lifetime license for it.
I've been trying KMail as an alternative (e-mail for KDE fags) and it's probably the best alternative I've found so far. It does have some weird bugs, the account setup wizard picks stupid defaults (like using port 25 for SMTP) and for some reason on my 2nd IMAP account it didn't subscribe to the Inbox folder so that was just mysteriously empty. Since it's made by autistic people, it has autistic defaults like disabling HTML on every e-mail by default unless you whitelist or just globally enable it.What is with that anyway?
If you're thinking BWGen, yeah same pseudoscience (with a bit of EMDR theory thrown in, I think), it just pulsed the actual music in the same way. I'm not going to claim it cured my autism, but the "knock you to sleep" one sure worked for me's all I'm sayin'.I remember doing this with a shareware Windows 3.1 sound editor. Discord itself is a piece of shit. The new discord mobile UI really sucks ass.
Discord not dying a painful death due to the furry cubophile moderator situation and Discord's weak punishment on that guy and the people that supported him was unfortunate. A lot of people knew about it but it really seems like nobody gave a shit because Discord was slightly more convenient to set up than teamspeak or other such programs. Despite the fact nothing you type on there is private, despite the fact it's built from a glorified browser.Discord itself is a piece of shit.
thedue to the furry cubophile moderator situation
A moderator, or admin I don't know what terminology they use, set up a new ban at the time to only ban anime 'loli' and not furry 'cub' content in discord universally. People started to notice this, I don't know if it was ever explicitly written in their rule book or whatever, and found out that a specific admin was responsible for setting the bans up this way and not just banning all cartoon cp as would make sense to anyone not completely mind broken. After a while of people contacting discord and digging into their moderation more, they demoted him only as far as I remember, if that, maybe just changing a title he had. They did nothing about any other mods that probably assisted his escapades. Then the situation just fizzled out.the

One of Discord's staff was a furry named TinyFeex who said "cub" content was not a violation of Terms of Service. This was a huge scandal and eventually Discord banned cub porn outright, but not before tons of shit was unearthed about how the "Trust & Safety" team were full of literal furries who banned people for no reason.the

Yep. It was in early 2019 this was happening. Not thread on the guy I can see, but this situation was mentioned in a few threads. Good post transcribing an article about it.One of Discord's staff was a furry named TinyFeex who said "cub" content was not a violation of Terms of Service. I don't think there's a thread on TinyFeex but there is a thread on a different furry T&S mod who also is fine with cub porn, allthefoxes.Yep. It was in early 2019 this was happening. This is why I set up my own Matrix. Basically has all the same features as Discord but it's at least private. Heard the devs for Matrix though are faggots but I don't care as long as my server can't get shut down by them.Discord not dying a painful death due to the furry cubophile moderator situation and Discord's weak punishment on that guy and the people that supported him was unfortunate. The issue for me would actually be convincing anyone to move over. People I know even shovel money to discord for server boosts that give you trivial shit like emojis and custom banners, stuff that used to be free on the old web. This is why I set up my own Matrix. We used Steamchat before and convincing two people in our group to move over has been a pain. One of them even told me to "lmao make me an account and I'll do it". Told the nigger no I don't want his password and shit, he is a grown boy and it takes less then 2 minutes. Custom emojis is nice but I never really utilized them to care. The issue for me would actually be convincing anyone to move over.
