/a/ and /v/ have been dickriding Cyberpunk so fucking hard because of edgerunners, but I'll give it a try if you guys are into it

I remember that. Basically, the devs said that they didn't want Rebecca in the show. Based Trigger BTFO'd the devs & said "You want the anime? Rebecca stays. No Rebecca, no anime, simple as."

Now? She's the most popular character from the show, & one of the devs who was against it, now considers her the best girl. In fact, you can find her shotgun in the game, at the Corpo Plaza.

What's even better is, the Cyberpunk Predditors, specially the jannies are dilating over it. Not only are they bitching about "buh teh loliz" which is retarded as it is, they're also objectively wrong, cause Rebecca is a 20 y/o shortstack. Like, the jannies didn't learn from the embarrassing copium huffing bullshit that was r/LowSodiumCyberpunk, & went even more retarded.

Jamming out to 98.5 body heat. That song is what everyone associates with the show now cause of the moon montage in the last episode. Edgerunners is a great little companion piece to the game. Good action, blood, cyber tits, romance, world building, the whole lot. The game really needed it as supporting material to reinvigorate interest in it. Actually convinced me enough to snag it up during the sale. Runs great in linux under wine.

I'm happy CDPR toned down on their bullshit & just let Based Trigger helm the anime. Mike Pondsmith literally called it a delve into his head, & that man was a "weeb" before that term even existed.

I'll watch Edgerunners since some in this thread said it was good, so I'm curious. I'll never play Cyberpunk at all though and not pretend the game was good like when Arcane aired last year and people thought League of Legends was a good game for a short while.
 
The game is great if you win the dice roll and get a bug-free experience like I did, but I assure you nobody cares whether you play a videogame or not.

Ngl, I just put 50 hours into it and I really enjoyed it. I said before I didn't like the anime all the much and I haven't changed my mind but the characters, world and concepts were interesting enough for me to want to actually play the game so CDPR gets the W on this one I guess.

If I knew that there was going to be talk about loli's around the series though, I never would have fucking watched it. I didn't even think Rebecca was supposed to be a loli until I saw it popping up everywhere, nothing about her came off as underdeveloped other than her height and small breasts and by those standards, I guess pornstars like Riley Reid and Emily Willis would be lolis too if someone drew them.
