Sony hate thread

Is Sony really cucking the Xbox players by making resident evil 4 ps4/5/ pc only?

I Mean, the idea of downporting to the ps4 is at least a Nice gesture, but i think they Know they Will sell less now that the Xbox is out of the picture.

You can build out a gaming PC that'll last you a long time for about the same price as a PS5 or XSX. The GPU shortage is over. Not to mention, it's not 2002 anymore, where dropping five Gs on a PC will net you a top-of-the-line rig today, that'll struggle two years from now, and be borderline useless in four.
And don't forget you can use your preferred controller, and run plenty of old games that were never on PC using emulators, massively increasing the library of available games, not to mention PC doesn't have the same problem with backwards compatibility that consoles do. Plus modding and you can tweak some games to run at resolutions never originally intended.

You know I could live with PS keeping their first party titles exclusive, that's understandable, but when they pay to have exclusivity for third party games, that's what really pisses me off. They're a little better about at least releasing things on PC slowly now, but all that bullshit with the Final Fantasy releases not getting PC ports for like 2 years is ridiculous. At least when Xbox does any kind of exclusivity, they do a day one release on PC.

>$559 for another Modern Warfare game
>yet it’s still hard to find a PS5 in actual stores anywhere
>even while living under an inflation crisis

Here's the interesting story of the cancelled PS1-exclusive sequel to Solstice (NES) and Equinox (SNES), Spiral Saga.

TL;DR: Small company happily works on game, big company buys them out, lead designer leaves due to disagreements with new owners, which leads to more people leaving the dev team, leaving Sony to finally cancel it. Sad. Many such cases.
That's a shame. Solstice on the NES has a rad soundtrack, just listen to the intro here, nothing on the NES sounded like that.

Its mindblowing, really. Why didn't every game sound like that?
Software Creations (the devs behind the aforementioned games) had their own special driver for the NES' sound chip which allowed them to create such rad compositions:

I appreciate them doing that but I really wish they'd focus on some of their more classic titles to port over. What the fuck is the point of porting Uncharted 4 and some Chloe spinoff without the initial Uncharted 1-3? Also can we get inFamous on PC please? Those games were actually fun, I've had enough of Last of Us for a life time.
A HD remaster of Ace Combat 004 would be amazing. Maybe turn the illustrations in the cutscenes into CG animations like it is in AC5.

Did Marissa get threadbanned or did he finally give up?

Even as kids me and my friends noticed the absolute magic of that opening, but fuck was that game cryptic and hard!

What? It's coming out on Xbox too.
