There's this one aviation travel youtuber I used to watch called Sam Chui. At first it was cool seeing him experience various first class services aboard all the airlines but after a while something clicked that left me with a sense of bitter disgust, wondering why I even used to watch his content. His videos are like most travel vlog videos that are a bit more tolerable and with a heavy focus on the airplanes or at least I thought. After about 10 to 20 videos seeing Sam shill some sponsored product with the gleeful look of a Chinaman from Australia enjoying business or first class service for the nth time aboard an airline, it all just felt fake. Sure there's passion, but this dude does the same thing flying on the same routes over and over with the same old commentary and nothing new to offer except some new sponsor product to shill. His bubbly personality and ritzy image reels you in but beneath that thin, shiny veneer there's nothing except a man who films himself flying on a plane.

He is a Fire Emblem/Advance Wars youtuber who is relatively new.
He started out doing pretty interesting videos such as playing Advance Wars as though it was a Fire Emblem game.

For those not familiar with either games, Advance Wars is a turn based strategy game where your units are highly dispensable and generic whilst Fire Emblem has every unit of yours be a unique character.

So in Advance Wars it is normal and expected to lose units in battle while in Fire Emblem people generally reset the chapter when anyone dies.

Then he started doing the whole playing Fire Emblem as though it was Advance Wars series, which meant he would play recklessly and get his units killed whilst pressing on regardless.

This is when he stumbled upon the gold mine called "Kill my units" where he would stream himself playing a Fire Emblem game and people can donate to have a particular character killed off, ranging from 5 to 50 (!) dollars depending on how good the unit is.

Ever since then this is all his content, the game he plays the most has a roster of around 40-50 characters iirc and all of them without exception get donated for and killed, you do the math.

Props to the guy for finding an easy money maker but this simply means that his content has grown very repetitive. Instead of making interesting videos there's only ever Kill my Units streams and highlight videos.

This is my only experience with Ludwig but he comes across as someone who was a nerd in high school trying to now pretend he was always the cool kid. He's as blank in character as someone like Jacksepticeye or Markiplier is but he pretends he's got some edge to him as he tries to control the conversation. The way he talks and acts through this interview makes me think in a year he'll be as much of a fag as Hassan Piker or Ethan Klein is because he just wants attention and cummies.

ComicsExplained. He does a really great service to those of us with neither the time to read nor money to buy all the comics stories he explains, but I can't stand his bad habits:
1. He has an annoying laugh that he forces in at random times. Here's a quote from one of his videos:
" The original intent was for him to join the team, but since they're all dead hahahahaha, they gotta figure out what team he'll join now".
Just random belly laughs from outta nowhere like that.
Clearly he thinks it's endearing or something but I just find it grating and unnecessary.
He could shorten his videos by 30% just by cutting out the annoying laughter.



2. He has this terrible habit of randomly using events in the stories he's narrating to impart life lessons onto his audience like he's some authority on life. Like he'll narrate that character X asked character Y out on a date and then go "You see folks, that's how a man pursues a woman. Just go for it, be bold, don't beat about the bush..............." Or narrate how a character faced off against his bully and got sent to the principal's office, then be like "And the principal told him that he should've reported the bully to a teacher, which doesn't work. We all know in life the only way to deal with a bully is with your fists..........". One time he segued from a character named William always correcting people who call him Bill into "I've never understood social norms. They've never made sense to me so I just do what I want".
He does this all the time. It's not like he's always wrong or anything, but aside from coming across as some know-it-all "Master of the game of life", a huge chunk of his audience consists of kids who can't tell the difference between some fat guy giving his opinion and genuine moral lessons from their favorite comics.

3. He calls his fans the "Rob Corps" based on the Green Lantern Corps which is cringe.

Ludwig is ALREADY that faggot, he's just not a "political streamer" yet. He's friends with Hasan and was completely dicksucking him when DarkViperAU called him out for ripping entire shows on twitch and "reacting" to them by sitting silently or fucking off and leaving an empty chair.

Ludwig is such a void of entertainment that it honestly amazes me he has a audience, people shit on critikal in this thread but at least critikal makes interesting videos some times (i like his irl videos where he isnt just sitting at his desk), i have yet to see a single interesting thing from him, he looks like the most plain bread twitch streamer, but he acts like he's edgy because???
