Isn't Floatplane like OnlyFans? You can't see the type of content or the channels unless you throw some money first?
Yes, it's exactly like that. Which also gives it very shit marketing, because you'll only know of it's existence if you're somewhere in the YouTuber ring, either you're a content creator who's aware of Linus/got reached out to by Linus or you're a viewer that's aware of Linus/sees that a given content creator is on Floatplane. Either they want to keep it as low profile as possible or they are just that bad at marketing.

How would you tell if your computer supports "Resizable BAR" ("rebar")? Does a Zen1/Ryzen 5 1600X (or whatever it's called exactly) support "rebar" on any motherboard, let alone a mid-range one?

On intel you turn on above 4g decoding in the bios and it shows a rebar option. Dunno if its the same for AMD.

Yeah I have above 4g decoding turned on, but there's no rebar option. I guess getting this card might not be a good idea at all.

Jayz2cents did a video about this a few days ago, it's on the last generation or two of intel mobos and a scant few AMD mobos.

So unless you've built a system in the last year and have been waiting on a card to finish it, you are going to get around a 20% performance hit by not having the feature.
