Reading r/detrans these days, I'm about 50/50 on the stories being horrifying examples of child abuse/med malpractice, and just being grossed out at borderline freaks turning themselves into grosser and grosser abominations as they continue down the spiral of "corrective" surgeries, pills, tattoos, piercings, microidentities, and such.

Unfortunately this isn't true. Many have been with a woman, often long term and tried to make their girlfriends and wifes into "lesbian". Pressure trans widows get from their spouses can be enormous and really gross, especially if they have kids. Sharing motherhood, making kids call dad mommy and being supportive during "the second puberty" regardless of personal feelings or financial issues.

I really hate myself for not archiving this (I was traveling and on my phone), but a while ago I stumbled upon this twitter post a troon in tech made about his personal DIY HRT lab, which is now either deleted or privated and thus basically unsearchable.
Found the pictures from the tweet on my phone's drive today and thought I might at least upload those even if I don't remember the source and couldn't find it online (you can find out that the pictures are from twitter using reverse image search, but sadly not from which account).View attachment 3712792

If you actually did a comprehensive anonymous survey, I think like 5% of the male population would agree with both "I sometimes wish I was born a woman, or fantasize about being one" and "Sex is real and immutable, a man cannot meaningfully become a woman".
But acknowledging that dark figure is extremely inconvenient for troomers, since it implies that most people can deal with "gender dysphoria" in a healthy way without transitioning, and live more or less normal lives. Instead they need to pretend all those men are just closeted transwomen brainwashed by internalised transphobia or whatever.

Also, I have seen plenty of beautiful women without makeup, and they might look a bit paler and maybe with a blemish or two but they're still beautiful. In a lot of cultures women barely wear makeup at all. It's all pure cope to deal with the fact that he still looks like an upside down Dorito:
