Recently, I'd been thinking that there was something familiar about Russell Greer's perpetual cycle of posting, editing, editing again, and finally deleting his social media posts, as if he was zeroing in on a magic formula that would result in him being fast-tracked to the final of AGT, and awarded the rhinestone-studded key to Taylor Swift's vagina.

I'd seen a similar pattern of behaviour elsewhere on the Farms and I couldn't remember where.

Then it hit me: Shamima Begum - the Jihadi bride who allegedly sewed fighters into suicide vests during her gap year with ISIS, and who now languishes in a Syrian camp having been stripped of her British citizenship (long may she remain there, or if not there then somewhere worse).

Every few months, Begum will surface like an unflushable turd, in a stage-managed attempt at gaining re-entry to the United Kingdom. When her pleas fall on deaf ears, she will disappear and then return for another go, with a slightly different look and a slightly altered choice of words. It's sociopathic and insincere, and demonstrates a surface-level understanding of human nature and human interaction.

I am not saying that Russell Greer and Shamima Begum are made for each other or that they deserve one another, although in a way I suppose that I am.

If Ralph can up sticks to Mexico, where a man can fuck his horse bride with impunity, then there is no reason why Greer, who is tiring of Vegas, should not be able to re-locate to Syria where, if nothing else, he will be among men who share his low opinion of women.

I would also like to add how disappointed I am that Greer has yet to follow-up on his first blog post (dating back to August 7th). In Internet time that's like 300 years ago.

By my count, he's started and abandoned at least three blogs since we started talking about him.

How does it benefit Null to waste time in motion practice opposing motions to put off a bullshit case? It's not like the case gets any stronger as time goes by.
Yeah, letting a bullshit case hang over your head for what will eventually be fucking years at this rate is clearly the better option. Because that's certainly great for your mental health I'm sure. I guess Skordas will just magically continue being Null's attorney for free during all the delays? Not like he's doing much anyway, but I'm sure there's a "still representing you when the time comes four years from now" monthly maintenance fee or some shit.

This is precisely why I have zero hope for judicial competence or actual justice. Even people who routinely criticize the courts' antics and decisions are content to let this kind of shit slide. Pretty much everyone seems to be fine with it. Maybe I wouldn't be so annoyed about it if they'd canceled high school "Civics" classes a decade sooner so I couldn't get an eyeball full of phrases like "right to a speedy trial" (inb4 someone reminds me that's only for criminal cases, further illustrating the point that civil court is hopeless since all the important rights vanish instantly upon entering).

Meh. Whatever. Maybe in 2028 this judge will retire and a new one will take his place that will make Russ' attorneys file a memorandum with the clerk _before_ rubber stamping the next extension. Fuck me, I guess. Hats to the left.

I love when people get mad about something they don't understand and don't inquire further (as that wouldn't allow them to keep being mad). That's on brand for you, though, so I'm not suprised.

Please stop for a moment. Take a deep breath. Calm down. Can you tell me the difference between a criminal case and a civil one? Yes! That's right! The stakes are completely different. In one of them the state attempts to take your rights away, and constitution guarantees you the strongest protections possible to make it as hard to do so as possible. The other one is just a civil case, where possible consequences are far less damaging than execution or imprisonment.

The courts have extremely limited resources. What you are proposing is not only resourcfully impossible, but also completely counter productive for a civil case. 82%-87% of all Civil Cases are resolved before a trial. This is by design. Not all lawsuits have merit, and not all of them need to be dragged out until a trial.

I mean, Null himself had said that he's pretty much screwed either way when it comes to money because he predicts that as soon as this case is dismissed Russell will refile it either slightly altered or in another state. It's not like once this case is ruled on Shtilips is defeated and it's all over. Skordas has cut Null some kind of deal and as long as he doesn't have to respond extensively to anything it's keeping costs down. There's lots of fucked up things both with this case in particular and with civil justice in general but Doufus & Doufus and their endless extensions is not really one of them.

And the judges recommend this because if it wasn't a thing then they'd be forced to listen to every single nuisance case out there. Practically nothing would actually get done and your civil case would eventually get on the docket years from now. Only to be pushed back with all the continuances, retrials and whatever that go on.

IIRC Null said that Skordas is doing the entire appeal for a flat fee.

Skordas has agreed to a one time fee for him doing the entirety of the appeals.

Null said that once on March 11th, and once in July 14th.

No matter what Russ' lawyer does, this does not cost Null a single penny more than he has already paid.
Dude calm the fuck down
That'd be a first.

So realistically, delaying all these stupid deadlines is beneficial for Null since Russell will still think his lolsuit is going through and won't be inclined to file a new frivolous lolsuit

I wouldn't say it's necessarily beneficial to Null in the sense that it stops more frivolous lawsuits (I believe that if Russ wanted, he would file more regardless), but it certainly does not hurt him

There is literally no point getting dragged off into the weeds spending limited resources arguing about Russhole's shitlolyers failing over and over to perform basic tasks.

But Russell! Won't the two dozen other girls to whom you're pitching woo feel betrayed when they see this comment?
That's what's going on in his mind when he imagines all these girls. When they finally realize he's off the market and one of those girls have finally gotten him they're all going to realize how stupid they've been and how they missed their chance at a true gentleman superstud like Russtard.
