Well, the CG reaction was ugly and hypocritical. But I won't blame people he disrespected not wanting to give him money. It's one hundred percent fair to have people who you just don't trust because they show you contempt, and yes, taking years to fulfill a very simple comic book is contemptuous.

Vikki was originally CG like allot of fake geek girls. I mentioned some. They were all exhibit A for why women don't necessarily belong in positions of power in comics unless they can prove themselves over a long period of time.
She got cross with CG powers that be over one of the many early homosexual slap fights and has hovered in the ever growing number of not CG but also not mainstream American comics crowd. She struggled for relevance while aloging (one of a handful of legitimate uses of the term in this realm of internet retardation) Frog before seeming to reclaim her sanity and team up with sped drug addict DA talks. This show became a feature of what I and other Kiwi CG watchers affectionately call the "CG slums." Made up of wannabes, hasbeen, neverwases; Dean and Vikki provided some much needed criticism of comicsgate. Among their hits was the story of the Etsys and Warcampaign (very important later), Ribbitcoin, Nassar's redemption and the passion of Doug, as well as shining a light on Frog and companies hypocrisy on crowdfunding. (kickstarter for Billy Tucci, but not for Clint Stoker or anyone small who needs it most).
Dean and Vikki eventually became exposed because of Vikki's insane fatal attraction obsession with Frog and Dean weird, probably drug induced simping. They targeted Preston Poulter who put out kiddie porn books. Peggy then proceeded to file a harrassement lolsuit against them and Frog for basically showing the books and stating a (true) opinion. They reacted poorly, didn't hire an attorney, and to Specter's internet lawyer advice fucking them. There's a thread. At the same time, the former warcampaigner's, Etsys, broke apart due to the incredible retardation of Testify HD. Testify accused another etsy, Stupendous, of being a pedo. He's not. This lead to almost everyone but JDA condemning him. Testify, never one to let any grudge real or imagined go; proceeded to heel turn and tried to help Poulter get Vikki and Dean's dox, with JDA's help. Meanwhile, Vikki and Dean were engaging in gayop discord drama and flagging. This lead to Dean finally nutting up and kicking the old lady out and saying he was done talking about CG. For all of a week. Then they were back together. The dagger was a leaked discord call. It was....exceptional. It's been reviewed, but suffice to say Vikki, Specter, and others all come out looking like gayop faggots.
The tragedy of Vikki and Dean's, limited, rise and fall is that they were actually doing some good things for the Indie comic scene. They leveled valid criticism of CG and I think that made CG shape up. The eye rolling part is Dean and Vikki's retarded e-enemies claimed this as their win. One group imploding spectacularly does not mean you accomplished anything....
