I missed the "you border us and we are bigger than you so we get to tell you what to do" codicil to international relations

Of course such a codicil does not exist, Russia has no more right to dictate to Ukraine than it does to Peru
And i missed the one about US-backed regime changes and eco terrorism. The US has no right to go around the world funding regime changes either yet here we are.
Russia set out to take Kiev, so no, they do not control more territory than they intended to at the start.

It seems the intended areas of occupation also change everytime a vatnigger seethes about Russia getting its ass kicked.
I guess Putins war goals change anytime a hoholcuck needs an excuse to reeeee.

They are more likely to be invaded by the US than Russia.
When did the US invade a NATO member?
Except he didn't. The former estonian foreign minister was recorded explaining to the EU foreign policy chief that the "protester" aka banderites were the ones shooting at both the cops and the protester to escalate the protest and the new regime refused to investigate.
Yeah, and you realize this isn't evidence, right? The Estonian foreign minister was simply relaying what he was told. Medical doctors can't identify which bullets were used in wounds. Ballistics is a well studied field and all the surgeons and coroners can testify that when they look at a wound they cannot determine what caused it unless the source was extremely specific. This "Olga" woman who supposedly worked at the hospital was never found.
The new government did investigate the sniper shootings. The issue is that the Berkut unit had several shooters and the guy who they wanted to pin the blame on had a hand injury and claimed he couldn't have taken the shots. So the case stalled due to lack of evidence.
Russia bombed the shit out of ISIS and US funded and trained rebels. Russian forces were invited by Assad to assist the Syrian military, the US was there because the US does not respect any borders themselves. Thats why to this day they bomb and drone strike targets in countries they are not at war with. Whos going to sanction the US? Exactly.
They killed more civilians than ISIS. Their euphemism was even "targeting terrorist infrastructure" - they bombarded the means of sustenance to kill the cities and make people leave as the food, water and jobs ran out.
Yeah, Russian forces were invited. And? They still caused the refugee issue. The US had very limited presence and mostly lobbed cruise missiles at Assad's military facilities.
You're fundamentally changing the subject. You're complaining about refugees but refuse to hold Russia accountable for their butchery in Syria. If you look at Afghanistan population graphs, it dipped due to the Soviet invasion (also "invited" by the government) but it kept growing during US occupation. Look at the Syrian war, and you see the population dip. Don't switch the subject to sanctions.
Russia had an agreement with the Ukrainian government, the same one that was overthrown and the democratically elected president forced to flee the country. Russia did not sign the budapest memorandum with an unelected, installed puppet regime.
Gaeeeee.
The US also had no deal with Russia regarding "NATO expansion". They had a deal with Gorbachev. You want to play it like that, I can play it like that.

So Russia doesnt have the right either, correct?

Oh wait yes it does you say so youre still a vatnigger hypocrite

When did Russia? Neither Georgia nor Ukraine are NATO member.

Yeah im sure the Estonian foreign minister just randomly called the EU foreign policy chief to tell her some random story an Olga told him. He also said she showed him pictures, so im pretty sure that lady was found.

No they didn't. The US funded, trained and armed rebels killed most civilians including that famous sarin gas attack by one of those rebel groups the US made excuses for. If it weren't for the US, once again, funding a regime change so they can build that precious Qatar pipeline through Syria, there would have been no need for Russians to help Syria and there would have been no hordes of Syrian muzzles flooding Europe. You know whos the common denominator in all of these wars? The US government and their three-letter agencies.
Gaeeeee.

Deal or no deal, if the 2014 Euromaidan coup would have never happened, the Ukes and Russians would still be getting along like they did for decades before that coup. But no, the US had to fund that coup after the Russians cucked them out of that Pipeline in Syria by helping Assad. Again, common denominator is the US being unable to mind their own business.
So Russia doesnt have the right either, correct?

Every action has a reaction. Replace the government of a country with a puppet regime that is hostile with the bordering country and threaten its security and you get a war.

Honestly, last I heard, the “occupation” was more “get control of pro Russia regions and let them hold a vote on where they want to be”. As for Kiev, I thought that was a matter of “get the government to admit in writing and enforceable means that they won’t even consider joining NATO, and if that means Zelensky has to go, then so be it”. Anything beyond those is just online arguments about the realpolitik .

Too bad Russia has utterly failed at one and is currently failing at the other eh

When did Russia?
Precisely. You've made my point for me. Join NATO, you don't get invaded. Get left out, you get curbstomped.

It's a snippet from a longer call. Foreign ministers talk a lot on the phone and through videoconferencing. It's probably 50% of their job.
There's a situation developing in Kiev, people are going to talk about it.
There's pictures of the bullets fired at protesters - they were steel core slugs made to stop vehicles by shooting the engine block. Only the Ukrainian riot police had those and they're fired out of shotguns, not rifles used by snipers.

The gas attack that left behind a crushed cannister consistent with Russian bomb casings?

Unlikely. After the Soviet Union collapsed the increase in freedom allowed the Ukrainians to find out the extent to which they had been suppressed by Moscow. There's a reason people protested against a president going back in his promise to move closer to the EU - they don't want to be Malorussians.

I don't even need to click the link. Many people predicted the war and Arestovych's predictions were based on what the Ukrainian military knew. I get that Arestovych sometimes comes out with statements that make him look like a savant, but he also says a ton of retarded shit.

You cannot do any of that though without severe repercussions.
If Hungarian Army would enter Romania and hold a referendum in Transylvania after a war where almost every Romanian runs for safety, and the remaining Magyars vote that Transylvania belongs to Hungary, who do you think would accept such BS?
It's not only about these specific events and pieces of land, it's what accepting such moves as legitimate means for the planet - a delegitimization of sovereignty, of diplomacy, and a return to solving every more serious conflict through bloodshed.

Nah let's return to blut und boden politics because that worked out so well for the first half of the 20th century

Good god, it’s like they want troops to revolt or something.
Russia arming a bunch of people who then get really really pissed at them. What could possibly go wrong? Unfortunately for Putin he doesn't even have a nice stache like Nick, so he just goes down as a paranoid midget glownigger.

What non-NATO countries did the Russians invade since the 11 day war in Georgia, of which there was no landgrab or annexation by Russia? What stopped Russia from invading non-NATO countries like Finland? Or other countries to the east when all they apparently want is expand? Oh right. They are not warmongers like the US.

Im pretty sure neither you nor any other hohol defender knows the arsenal of the banderites during the 2014 coup or what ammo they used. I remember arguing with a retard on here who vehemently denied that anyone on the Uke side was using old outdated M16 rifles from the US and that the weapon smuggling video must have been a fake.
The gas attack that left behind a crushed cannister consistent with Russian bomb casings?
Blaming the russians is consistent with usual Ameritard behaviour.

8 Years after the coup the Ukraine ranked the poorest country in europe despite being almost twice the size of germany. Even poorer than Moldova.

Talking about how their plan to join NATO will force Russia to invade Ukraine. “They must do this before we join NATO.” "Our price for joining NATO is a big war with Russia."

Half of them get shot down, the other half are used on static targets.
They blew up a few ammo dumps and the such but the Ukrainians don't store actual kilotons worth of boom boom in a single building like Russians so it's just business as usual. They also struck the empty offices of the southern military command of Ukraine. Big whoop.

They recently blew up a barracks facility in Kiev itself and a brigade there lost manpower while recuperating losses. The Saheds also have a lot of range, at least several hundred kilometers (Russians say up to a 1000 km but who knows if that's true)

Also, it doesn't matter if they get shot down, their purpose is to overwhelm AA defences and they're doing a good job at that.

False that was a feint, a diversion if you will. Russia could take Kiev any time it wants! What’s going on with Russian regrouping is brilliant russian strategy and the hohols have fallen for it!

The deal offered to the hohols at the start of the war was pretty simple. Donbass becomes an independent autonomous region and Ukraine won't join the NATO. Should have taken that deal instead of Biden bucks. Speaking of having someone unfit near a nuclear trigger.
any "deal" that boils down to "do what i say or i will kill you" is a meme my man
how retarded do you think people are that you try to pass off these blackmail attempts as some sort of generous diplomatic opportunity?

Never said anything about repercussions, even though you’re probably right. I’m just trying to map out what Putin wants to accomplish while trying (and possibly failing) to cut through the bullshit and the noise.
Nah let's return to blut und boden politics because that worked out so well for the first half of the 20th century
And the second half worked so great.
