my personal theory is that at least for mtf trans they are trying to emulate a woman but it just comes off very badly because they never actually think about that part. they think taking drugs just makes you become a woman. when that is simply not the case. look at drag queens for example they realized long ago that men cant just be normal women so they use that to their advantage they use make up to hide things they practice how women walk and move till they get it down perfectly all while for the most part not cutting their dicks off.

obviously some drag queens put more effort in than others but i feel its a fair comparison simply because it shows you the level of effort men need to put into emulating a woman and how even if they get the movements down unless you have millions of dollars to throw at surgeries youll never fully pass.
