Power level ahead, but as I've wrote before in other threads, I do Cold War Soviet and Warsaw Pact re-enactment and equipment displays. Did a fair few shows here in bongland this year, and not really had any complaints or much in the way of negative comments from joe public. Apart from the last one at the end of August down in Kent where the organiser nearly cancelled us for having radios with Cryrillic markings on display....

Going round the stalls after setting up, came across "Humanitarian Aid for Ukraine" which seemed quite popular and had a huge Bandera flag outside. Inside was even better, with things for sale such as fridge magnets with Stepan Bandera's mug on them, Kraken flags and insignia, battlefield pickup Russian army sleeping bags covered in blood and a Russian helmet that had a bullet hole and small pieces of hair and skull of the former owner. The guy running the stand was covered in your typical Azoz recruit tattoos, usual sonnenrad's etc.
This was also one of the shows that had brownshirts wandering around after the public had gone home a few years ago.

I am not perticularly fond of NATO in general but ascension into the organization should at least be more stringent than an article in a peace declaration. As for your previous comment, no the West will not freeze to death. Europe's gas reserves were filled weeks ago. Norway has built a pipeline to Poland. LNG platforms have been set up near Germany. Europe has plenty of coal and are reactivating old coal power plants. Nuke plants are being kept online.

No one said Russians are a different species, the point is they live in a very harsh and cold climate so they are probably prepared for winter and there's zero evidence that they aren't, it's just western agitprop. Secondly you're just spouting blatant bullshit about the energy, it doesn't matter how many pipelines Norway sends to Poland, Norway doesn't produce enough natural gas to replace Russian natural gas and there might be two offshore LNG terminals set up in Germany maybe by this winter, big maybe there. Also LNG is much more expensive than pipeline gas which will lead to people going with less or without. German businessmen are saying German industry will collapse come winter but what would they know? Also please show the "direct evidence" that western leaders are competent, they've showed everything but that during all of this.

Ukraine has Western resources on its side. Western Europe was rebuilt rather quickly after WW2. By early 50s you would have never guessed that Eastern France or London were damaged in war and their infrastructures were better than before WW2 started. That was accomplished nearly 100 years ago. Ukraine would have a tough couple of years but decade after the end of the war they would be on a path to catch up with the west. Much like the former Eastern Block nations after they escaped Russia's orbit and got through painful 90s.
