I made a thread in the shitpost section about how I'd like some jokes because my pet passed and almost all the comments were condolences and help. Almost since of course someone had to call someone else gay because rules of the site.

My sole reason for setting aside my sympathy and compassion is the utter hypocrisy of Lucas and his troon brigades

My personal reason is that all their problems could be solved in mundane ways but they keep choosing the wrong way and shooting themselves in the foot every time. Maybe you start feeling bad after your friend gets hit in the face by stepping on a rake. But if they keep getting hit by it because they refuse to step elsewhere it ain't nothing but hilarious.

But he can't keep a lid on it. It's too big a part of Lucas Roberts, it's the humor he grew up on, and now that he's famous (enough) and wealthy (enough) to sustain himself for the foreseeable future he wants to let loose and he fucking can't.

Imagine wanting a wide audience to be rude and preform your funneh jokes that your internet friends LOVED before but now the world cringes at your humor. You have to rewrite your humor. You have to rewrite your identity again - but this time covering up something you actually love, being overly cruel and crude. I'd be devastated and confused as a narcissist. Maybe Kiwis can learn we shouldn't aim to please anyone in a nonprofessional situation but those who like us for who we are? Who knows, just sit up straight or something.


I'd also like to point out that I don't think it was specifically gamergate, but I would say he grew up when interner pornstars were (and are) a thing and streamer thots were kinda starting up. He could have thought it due to maybe the brief success of Paris Hilton or general reality show stars that all women had to do was be pretty and all their rude behavior would be excused. Not a bad hypothesis, just too narrow for me.

I think both you and the poster you were responding to are both a bit right. I know the jury is still out on whether Keffals is AGP or not, but let’s assume he is. Narcissism is a prerequisite of AGP given it’s when a man’s sexuality inverts to himself. To be not just sexually aroused but romantically attached to your idea of yourself as a woman is basically just narcissism made flesh.
