This is the interesting bit. @Feline Supremacist do you have any info on whether S-300 missiles are being used in ground attack mode, and if so, what missile models are being used? Is it the old missiles from 70s and 80s being fired to empty out the ammo depots, and if so - why are they being used over dedicated artillery, be it conventional or missile/rocket?
I'll check although lots of internet autists have come up with convincing evidence Ukraine took out the tourist bridge itself with a S-300 trying to get the RF missile(s) that was going for the NATO building next to it. Which vintage I'll check.

With my years of experience as an armchair general and chief logistician I'd imagine the S-300s being used as ground attack is for two reasons.

One to save on proper conventional gear, which could mean their supplies are low, but can also mean that they're being frugal and using what they have loads of.
The other could be that the Ukies aren't exactly flying planes everywhere so they might foresee them not being needed as AA anytime soon.

Some Russian circles are reporting that DPR soldiers are lacking bulletproof vests. Although that is as reliable as a twitter post.

My friends who do ratnik impressions are saying that some Russian soldiers got their ratnik stolen and are being sold online and now they have to use 6b23s. That's all hearsay though.
Word is that the infamous General Pavel stole their food and vodka too.
All under the watchful eye of Alex Jones.

Wouldn't be infinitely cheaper to use regular artillery or kamikaze drones against ground targets, or are you talking about those far away? I don't get how frugal they're being with certain things, like sometimes claiming they "don't have ammunition for constant artillery fire in Bakhmut" but are using about a hundred missiles for strikes that aren't remotely important for the war.

I hate how journos and pro-ukie twitter accounts were so ready to point out the size of this lad and never even provided proper information about him, even when he's supposedly a damn general.

There have been plenty of photos of dpr/lnr guys lacking armor, wearing homemade homemade armor, cheap IIA vests etc., Ukraine and Russia have both had localized shortages for armor. Yes, 6b23s are visible in many videos.

I look forward to seeing all this gear on the black market. Also, FSB was claiming that some guy had Igla missiles and was planning to shoot down planes in Moscow.

You were fine with it when it was russians in the separatist regions, you were fine with them being cut off from water and electricity. You cheer it on with it's the russian men getting killed, you fucking faggot.
I just think the ukrs should be happy putin is nice enough to spread the pain around, FINALLY.
What the fuck are you talking about? When have I cheered on people being killed in the separatist regions? Never mind I can answer that - literally never. Innocent people dying does not give me pleasure.

Give your head a shake buddy. You and your pals in this thread are becoming psychopathic. If you wanna back Russia then whatever, but enjoying the thought of civilians being killed is sick. It's fucked bro.

Edit: You got your wish anyway, civilians were killed in a market by Russian missiles in Avdiivka in Donetsk. Funny, I thought the Russians were 'liberating' Donbas, not butchering its people?

LPR was always the poorer brother of the two states. The newly conscripted LPR soldiers are the ones that are going to suffer a lot more. I thank Russia for igniting the conflict because I managed to snag some soviet uniforms for way cheaper than it would normally be.

But honestly I would rather have no armor than to wear shitty Type 88s jap helmets.

Fix your shithole country yourselves and stop expecting Russia and China to do it.
I love how these morons can't see the forest for the trees and think Russia/China are somehow good or an ideal to live up to. Every single one of these people would be screaming to be let back into the West if they had to live there for a week.

Uhh NATO bros, why is Ukraine using 120-year-old rifles? Did they sell all the NATO stuff to Russia already?

A third world shithole with no military budget and an equipment shortage has a valid reason for improvising with whatever they can get their hands on.

I’m not sure what Ukraine’s excuse is, though.
