Cracked truly went to shit when they witch hunted and crucified John Cheese, one of their best writers and editors for the sake of vague accusations by notorious grifter Talia Jane. That faggot Jason Pargin (who yellowfaced by using the pen name "David Wong" to trick people into thinking he was Asian) deleted all his articles at the demand of Talia Jane.
Unsurprisingly, after the bitch Pargin left cracked, John Cheese's articles were quietly added back, likely because they were seeing the metrics of how many people were still trying to click through to the URLs for those articles from other sites.
Why so much of the internet comedy space of the early 10s decided to collectively guzzle the woke kool-aid and kill their own industry, I will never understand.

They seriously thought it was a revolutionary moment that would overthrow everything and usher in an utopia. Why they thought this I can't tell you but boy do they remain mad at everyone else for screwing it up and stealing it from them. Pat is such a stupid liar. I have, in fact, had my identity stolen and have gotten my SSN changed. It's not hard to do, assuming that your identity has, in fact, been stolen and that you do, in fact, have paperwork proving as much. He's telling stupid lies about this and being belligerent about it because the stupid lies he's telling are exactly the sort of lies a stupid belligerent drunk would tell, and then double down on.
'You can't change your SSN" is right up there with "My girlfriend lives in Canada" in the stupid lies rankings, and I'm somehow sure that the girlfriend lie is one he told back during his 1.2 academic GPA days back in high school, when he was childing the pretty, popular, and smart kids who pointed out that he's a loser and a gay virgin. He's really fat, too.

He'd probably owe more people's legal fees for trying to sue them over stuff like "I read his book and it sucked" or "I heard he's a fat faggot with bitch tits." Anyone who did anything seriously illegal would probably have used a VPN or McDonald's wifi and if he got some actual residential IP addresses he'd still have to do more discovery to connect them to actual people.
