Seriously buy Richard Poshard 2 a new microphone and teach him how to use it or give him the sack! REALLY!
If he didn't do all this Wogglebunk for gratis I'd hope you'd have given him the boot years back, but knowing you probably not...
Can you legitimately not tell that all his lines are only coming through the left channel and are recorded at an unusable bit rate below 128?!
He sounds like he recorded them over the fucking phone in a submarine!
And yes, people will notice how ghastly it sounds, even if you somehow miraculously don't...
Plus the quality of his audio being significantly and very audibly worse than everyone else's in the movie only makes it that much more noticeable/jarring.
Don't get me started on those levels.
But hey he's only your lead...

But his inexperience/inability/incompetence isn't the only reason he's letting your "movies" down.
He refuses to use a backing track when singing, has no idea how to record his lines outside of his garbage quality laptop mic and when he does sing he sounds as if he's one check up away from a diagnosis of stage iv laryngeal cancer...
Untalented, unprofessional and apart from your "movies" entirely unhirable.

Other than the refusal to use a backing track I never even considered the possibility of the VA being at fault. I've always assumed a lot of it was Cynthia intentionally adding effects to what would otherwise be decent audio. We don't know the quality of the audio when it's sent off to her so I'd at least give the benefit of the doubt and place the blame with the person we *know* to be grossly incompetent.

I doubt the VA is *good* I just can't imagine this being a good example of what he can do.

I'm sure he is at fault. In some of her "movies" Woggy can be heard in only one channel and it's exclusive to this single character.
Anyway, I'm happy to see her still working on her films. And to see Woggy as gay as always.

lmao the newest video just dropped. If someone less retarded than me could archive it that would be great. Yes, I know I really need to figure out how to do that by now.

The best part of this are the new goat, vulture, and owl characters. The vulture's mouth movements and tired delivery is my favorite.

Edit to add: watching Sylvie climb the tree at 12:28 is one of my new favorite moments in the series.
That owl mouth is going to give me nightmares. Why does the vulture get to speak through it's beak but the owl has to speak through a gash in it's throat :'(

Also while skipping through the rest of COURSE I just happened upon a sneezing scene. Hope the Raisen Pie Retard (who is a troll and unfunny) has severe allergies if he really wants to woo her.

So, when Sylvie looked through the glass and was transported to Genoma or whatever, did she disappear into thin air in front of her dad, or does she just go into a zoned out trance or some shit?

Credit where it's due, love this rare example of a healthy polyamorous relationship in children's media. This throuple listens to each other and works together. You can feel the chemistry, unlike the fan service Froggle romance. Great work Cherie -- looking forward to their spin-off franchise.

That Birdman is one of the only things I unironically like from the woggleverse. It looks uniquely alien despite just being a guy's head with some extruded polys and an owl slapped on his face.

It bears the odd distinction of being both incompetent, and being something I could see in a competent work.

Cherie's MATI today
  • Cherie held a poll on her YouTube channel surveying whether people agree with her on Oz and the treatment of the Wogglebug.
    • Massive coping, saying that she hopes that most of the people who voted that they disagree are trolls with multiple accounts.
  • Tells people who disagree with her to unsubscribe from the channel.
    • "I just seriously do not think Oz fans and Wogglebug fans are supposed to be friends with each other and you would only be able to understand what I mean if you have actually read the Oz books."
    • "And for all of you out there who are Oz fans, I wish I could get you to realize and accept the truth, which is that Mr. Wogglebug was in fact mistreated in the second Oz book and that in the book he was exactly just as kind, sweet, and gentlemanly as I portray him in my movies, and the Oz characters (especially the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman) were no friends of his at all ever. "
      • Calls those two characters "arrogant bastards who seek out worship for themselves due to some childish nonsense they believe about themselves that had been instilled into them by a dastardly con artist"
      • Calls the Scarecrow an "annoying bastard" because he thinks he's the smartest person in Oz, and when he comes up with solutions that "most average [unintelligible] would know better than to do", she says it's because he has brains made of bran and are "essentially more fake than our modern-day computer's artificial intelligence"
        • "He's better off being stuck on his beanpole being mocked by crows in the cornfield."
      • The Tin Woodman is "an annoying bastard" because despite how much he claims to have a "superior heart" he just collects more tin items instead of helping people.
        • "He's better off being a lowly woodsman living in a cabin in the forest.
      • "Dorothy is no better than they are. She is no good role model for young girls or for anyone. Think about it, in the books she abandoned the real world for a fantasy world and became a princess who will never grow up in it, so she will continue to idolize those two bastards I just talked about, instead of growing out of being able to respect them."
        • Shills Sylvie: "This is why [she] is a far superior role model for girls of this day and age. Her life story is much the opposite of Dorothy's."
  • Admits that he wasn't a very good professor, but says it was because the people of Oz locked him in the college so they could keep him "out of the way".
    • "He was never in their way but they are always in his way. Because of this he goes on no adventures and so he doesn't get to learn anything new and valuable for himself and he has no friends and so he is completely unhappy even if he doesn't realize it."
    • "In my movies he's in Genoma as if he never was in Oz in the first place with the origin story he had there, taking place in Genoma now and he is always happy there because he goes on adventures all the time, and he has true friends who respect him, he has a very respectable position as the royal advisor for the king and queen there, he later becomes the royal educator when Professor Knowitall passes it on to him, and then he becomes the royal ambassador of keeping the peace between his world and our world when the links between them are discovered."
  • "Now the ultimate purpose of my creating the Wogglebug's franchise is first and foremost to give him all those things I mentioned so that he becomes a very famous and beloved household name and role model for today's children, and second of all, to ensure that because of these things, he never gets put into any Oz movies in the future, which I dare say is ironically also what the vast majority of the Oz fans would prefer anyway."

It always feels so off whenever she talks about how much she hates Oz characters. It's the only thing that seems to bring out any passion in her yet her recital for the reasons she hates them seems almost like it's a script she constantly recites. On top of that she seems like the type who would become dangerously defensive of her partner, you guys all worry about Wolflings being dangerous but I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Cherie doing something either.

I notice there's a dog in the background there at the beginning? Does she actually have a dog? I kind of hope she doesn't, I don't trust her with a dog at all.

But apparently Dorothy is a terrible person for being a spoiled girl who abandons real life to live in a fantasy world where she idolizes terrible characters and refuses to grow up. Good thing Cynthia doesn't know anyone like that in real life.
The Wogglebug's circumstances are worth taking into account, but apparently none of the other characters get that same consideration. They're just bastards.

Any day now The Wogglebug will be famous, first she just has to deal with getting all these people who didn't vote the way she wanted in a poll to unsubscribe from her.

I think people can sometimes get distracted by the retardation and forget what a miserable cunt Cynthia actually is.

PS: Good to see that creep didn't wind up murdering her I guess.

Like chaining him in her basement dressed as the Wogglebug and making him dance like a monkey for food? I can see it.

  • "I just seriously do not think Oz fans and Wogglebug fans are supposed to be friends with each other and you would only be able to understand what I mean if you have actually read the Oz books."

Ah yes, that great social division: Oz fans and Wogglebug fans. Fun fact, that was the original basis for Apartheid. Got a bit jumbled as the years went by.

"And for all of you out there who are Oz fans, I wish I could get you to realize and accept the truth, which is that Mr. Wogglebug was in fact mistreated in the second Oz book and that in the book he was exactly just as kind, sweet, and gentlemanly as I portray him in my movies, and the Oz characters (especially the Scarecrow and Tin Woodman) were no friends of his at all ever. This is like those people who whinge that the Jacobites aren't on the throne. But for kiddy books from a million years ago.

  • Calls those two characters "arrogant bastards who seek out worship for themselves due to some childish nonsense they believe about themselves that had been instilled into them by a dastardly con artist"

Cynthia's diction is a neverending delight. Who the fuck says "dastardly" if they aren't talking about a silent movie villain?

Calls the Scarecrow an "annoying bastard" because he thinks he's the smartest person in Oz, and when he comes up with solutions that "most average [unintelligible] would know better than to do", she says it's because he has brains made of bran and are "essentially more fake than our modern-day computer's artificial intelligence"

Now I'm picturing Ozites constantly badgering Nick Chopper to paint pictures of like, Nixon on the starship Enterprise.

"Dorothy is no better than they are. She is no good role model for young girls or for anyone.

Does she have to be?

  • "He was never in their way but they are always in his way. Because of this he goes on no adventures and so he doesn't get to learn anything new and valuable for himself and he has no friends and so he is completely unhappy even if he doesn't realize it."

I am still bewildered by Cynthia's halfway understanding of fiction. Like, it'd make more sense if she was just full on delusional and thought the Wogglebug was real.

"In my movies he's in Genoma as if he never was in Oz in the first place with the origin story he had there

It's funny she brung up AI, because Cynthia's vocabulary seems to be made of personal stock phrases. "As if he was never in Oz" comes up a lot.

If there could be two Quicksilvers in movies at once, we can have two Wogglebugs. One can breathe fire and grow fifty feet tall, the other can die like a punk in his first appearence.

It always feels so off whenever she talks about how much she hates Oz characters. Mr. and Mrs Smith, but it's two challenged adults. I'd watch it.

Yeah i don't recall a dog coming up in conversation before, but tbh i don't pay much attention to her videos
Like chaining him in her basement dressed as the Wogglebug and making him dance like a monkey for food? I can see it.
That would really be a great swerve, he's all ready to kidnap and eat her, then she gets the drop on him instead
